Thank you for visiting my home town . The tourists come for the shops and gardens but we are the home of Bowls England and hold major championships in Victoria Park including the Commomwealth Games .The Royal Pump Rooms has the library ,art gallery and a cafe inside and well worth a viisit .Im looking forward to more videos to come.
I was born in Leamington. Lived on Portland Place near the Regal Cinema and Bandstand for the first 2 years of my life, then moved to Woodloes, Warwick. Warwick is literally connected to Leamington and is beautiful as well, more historic, whereas Leamington is more classy. Absolutely love Leamington and Warwick. Moved to London when I was 23 and now settled in West London but Leamington will always be home for me, miss it. Spent so many of my formative years there. Thanks for the video. 👍🏻
I have lived here for 15 years in this lovely town. I have no intention of moving - everyone here is friendly and it is indeed the happiest town! Do come and visit!
I live quite near Leamington Spa and it is one of my favourite towns to visit. I love Jephson Gardens and think it's time for another visit. 😊 Thanks for posting.
Thanks for showing me around Leamington Spa and it is a nice place to stay and walk round and the shops and restaurants and bars and the parks and gardens and you have a nice sunny day for walking round Thanks Neil
That's my brothers wedding ❤ what a amazing memory they didn't even know they were going to get 😊 thank you for capturing it! Leamington has some really beautiful places right on our doorsteps we are very lucky x
The statue of Queen Victoria outside of the town hall has moved a couple of inchs on it's plinth so it's no longer sitting square. This was caused by a bomb blast in WW2
I had the pleasure of living there for 10 years, after I'd lived in Warwick for 23 years from birth! (Now I live in Finland.) Both beautiful places. Incidentally, in WW2 a bomb landed near the statue of Queen Victoria, moving it an inch off-centre. She was not amused!
@GimbalWalkTV I wish I could add photos of what the pour areas loom like and how much rubbish there is piled up, the richer the town the worst they look down on the pour, this town will be the death of me
What a beautiful crowdless city when compared to swarming Indian cities with people and vehicles. I once went through this quiet city on my way to Stratford upon Avon from Birmingham
My hometown. I'm currently looking at your videos as I'm taking some tourists round Mevagissey, Tintagel, Jamaica Inn and Plymouth. Leam looks better on film than in real life! :D BTW, Leamington Spa is in Warwickshire and not the West Midlands.
No not really In other countries they ask/beg me to film them when I’m out and about and invite me into their shops to film etc Here in England it’s a stranger reaction and very weird
Hi , back in the 1480s Leamington was a village and a natural spring of saline water was found , this water was found to be theraputic and people would come to drink and bathe in the water. The Royal Pump Rooms was built for this purpose as the town grew.
It’s very clean Neil but not much there seemingly unless you want the high end shops? It would be great if you’d consider visiting Tutbury as I’m going there soon? I enjoyed the video Neil and thanks for the factoids
Famous people to live or have lived in Leamington include Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte; who became the President of France and then Emperor Napoleon III, who lived in Leamington whilst in exile between 1838 and 1839, the inventor of the jet engine Frank Whittle (1907-1996) who lived in

Leam has changed so much over the last 10-15 years.
Agreed

Crikey - didn't know that
that's an interesting story - I'm going to look that up now and read up on it!
Definitely one of the cleanest places in Britain
Definitely

Can’t believe I’ve never visited here .only 50 miles from home .looks lovely .definitely will pay it a visit now
I like your videos...
What a beautiful crowdless city when compared to swarming Indian cities with people and vehicles. I once went through this quiet city on my way to Stratford upon Avon from Birmingham
Yes very quiet compared to Indian streets!
Welcome to our beautiful town having lived here for over 40 years it's a wonderful town and no more dangerous than any other town.
Yes but they are all very dangerous...
How about Warwick. I use these videos to decide where to visit. Keep up the good work!😊
Stay tuned - you should be pleased!

A lovely walkabout, it’s one of my favourite places. Just a few suggestions. Have you thought about filming in Evesham, Bridgnorth and Lichfield.

Beautiful day. The wedding couple might like to know they can see their photography day in video
Have you ever had someone ask you not to film them?
No not really

Not everyone wants you filming their children for UA-cam entertainment.
My family have recently moved to Warwickshire, and Leamington Spa is a 30 minute drive away, Banbury is nearer but they prefer Leamington Spa
Great video watching from Canada but one question why is it spa? Does it have a lot of spas there?

Great walkabout. However, Napoleon Bonaparte never lived in the Town. That was Napoleon III.

Lillington is another story.
Please make a informative film on Chester City
I paln to study at Warwick. Which u prefer, I stay at Coventry or here?
A lot of students live in Leamington and travel to the Uni each morning. Out of the two, I'd personally take Leamington.
Miserable failure gimbal - You missed the main shopping area i.e. Upper Parade, Warwick Street and the Royal Priors shopping Center ...
Will get it on the next one
Ps shopping centres don’t allow filming in them for some reason
@@GimbalWalkTV Yes, they are funny about people taking photos in there. As it's privately owned, I guess that's their choice, but annoying though.
Planet Bongs moved
What was that?
It used to be on Regent Street, but has been on the Parade for quite a few years.

His nephew Louis?
