Excellent video, appreciative, respectful, observant, yet lively. Most travel videos aimed at English speakers are too loud and try to be hip and/or cool. I lived in Tuscany for one glorious year and fell in love with it; a truly extraordinary place!.
Another beautiful expose of one of the most famous areas of Italy. Tuscany. The wool, the wild boars, the steak and of course the olive oil. What a magnificent Country. So much to see within the boot!
Tuscany is lovely n beautiful Paradise I really loved to go 🇮🇹 wine 🍷 is my favorite I can’t wait to go thanks for sharing your lovely video god bless and peace ,BONGIORNO.
Love to learn about Italy! Thank you for this amazing show/series! I try to learn all I can about the wine, food, buildings, and countrysides. Seriously, all of the wonderful pasta, wine, cheese, bread and olive oil that I see in all the Italian show are just so inspiring! I am definitely dreaming of Italy.
A truly beautifully presented video away from the maddening crowds. I,who always lament the fact of videos with loud horrendous inappropriate music, which frequently drowns the speakers voice, found the music here beautiful, relaxing and extremely well chosen. I applaud everyone envolved with this video. I'm Italian by the way and so very proud to be.
Wow.. thank you for the video. I love it and i already falling in love with Italy. I have been to Roma, Venezia, Verona, Tuscany, and the last time in 2018 to Napoli, Pompei, Vesuvio, Amalfi, Positano. Love Italy.
thank you for sharing your experience in Tuscany .... I love the nature I saw there , horses and cowboys ... your way of transforming every detial with your sweet voice made it easy to capture your words clearly for that I enjoyed it till the last minute of the video ...thanks alot
The chop, chop, chop ended at 2:50, but you're right, that first 3 minutes was a bit long for the 2 - 5 second clips, and somewhat annoying. The rest was a pleasure to watch.
Castello di Ama was a great wine in the 90's. It is a very small holding with south facing vineyards. You could buy a bottle for CAD$25, which is a lot for a bottle of wine in Italy. The wine got written up in Wine Spectator, and demand skyrocketed. The winery couldn't keep up with the demand, and the price went to over CAD$100 per bottle. The winery expanded to meet the demand, couldn't grow enough grapes, and started to import grapes from Spain and other places. The quality of the wine suffered, although it's still a good wine. However, right next to the winery is a small house, Casa di Ama, which has an even smaller holding in Ama, and produces an excellent wine very similar to the original Castello di Ama, and at a much better price. BTW, there's a restaurant in AMA, Il Poggio di Gennetto, which is outrageously good and not too expensive. The cooking is by nonnas. Order the fettunta to start. It is made with Ama olive oil. Buon appetito!
i am so fascinated with Italy..each region comes with its' unique history. I notice however that the population featured is always older!. Who will carry on these traditions?
Young people live mostly in the cities. Furthermore, the average age in Italy is 48 years old, so it makes sense that there are more older people in the videos.
what a beautiful episode! what is the name of the flute and harp piece that is playing at 4:20? I am a flutist and I loved hearing this! thank you for letting me know!
Start with a trip to a single city. There are many cities with enough things to fill an entire vacation without needing to rent a car. A visit to Rome is a good vacation, with enough attractions to fill 4 or 5 days. Venice is another option, which can fill 3 days on its own.
totally agree, I left Livorno many years ago and call Australia (Melbourne) home, but miss the Italian culture, architecture and fantastic history...will need to visit again soon
YEs indeed, just hope the italians have more babies, otherwise they'll "disapear", being populated by foreigners that arrives from everywhere but Italy.
Long time ago a "challenge" between the famous Buttero Augusto Imperiali and the famous Cowboy Buffalo Bill happened...the italian won the challenge. They both made a bet and after the lost of the challenge Buffalo didn't pay and, the day after, he returned to America.
