I Took My Nephew Fishing!

- Summer is almost over for the kids and their dreaded return to school draws near! My nephew wanted to get outside and I jumped on that opportunity. Even tho the fishing was slow, we had a great time!
That little Yum Dinger kit from Walmart was actually pretty neat. Great way to get the kid to the water and interested in fishing. If you see one on clearance, grab one up and take a kid fishing!
Shout out to my sister and brother in law for allowing me to spend the morning with my buddy! Made some good memories!

Awesome that you took him fishing. He will learn from your experiences. Hell we just took my nephew Cameron fishing on the boat and taught him how to use a bait caster. Took us about an hour and multiple backlashes but by the end of the trip he was casting great. Caught his first peacock. Need to get his dad out to fish.
That is awesome man! Bait casters aren't easy to master but he'll appreciate it when he does. And a peacock, thats a heck of a first! Great stuff!

That's a pretty cool kit, although I agree, that hunter orange senko might not be it lol. Never seen a training hook before either lol. Great job handing the rod over for the assist! My dad used to do that for me when I was little and I did the same for my kids when they were little. Always helps for the fun level of the day 👍. Loved the rare tank bass!!! The juice break was a nice touch as well 👌

Man we had a blast out there. I wish the fishing was a little better but he was a champ the whole time. Never complained once! Kinda liked the juice break. I may make that a regular thing 😂 No kidding, that’s a comfortable shirt bro! I don’t usually pay attention to my wardrobe when fishing lol. Thanks Bro! He's already asking when he can go again. LOL Think his gear needs an upgrade. That light rod made it hard to set a hook. Think thats why he lost that one. He was using my spinning combo here and there and was doing pretty great with it. Always great too see the excitement in a kid when fishing.

I look forward to your next video! If the fish don't bite you always have lure painting and gear reviews to fall back on.
