Not more than 30%, which is still fine, but imagine twice the price for the same shit and still you get facilities like 50 years old. Any richer brat can crash you without facing any consequences, daylight vandalism and goondagardi on roads where half of the trucks are overloaded like hell and covering the entire road and barely giving you side. People don't know driving etiquette and the list goes on.....

Sorry Faisal, you are nitpicking and I beg to differ. After having driven more than 10Km, I can safely say - 1) P300 is just about adequate. You will never feel that power is inadequate, even when you have four adults, full cargo, full fuel tank. You can further improve it by customising the drivetrain via pivi pro. 2) There is no turbo lag, if you hustle it, then you may not get what you are expecting, but then for that Defender gives you a V8. 3) Braking is adequate, one does not feel out of place. But with a full load and tyre pressure set to full load, braking in fact improves, believe it or not. I think the larger issue is JLR's dealerships not being savvy enough to handle the car. Most of the horror stories build down to the dumbness of the dealer network. JLR should not only fix that but also make itself available to the community. They have the most pathetic social presence. I do agree on the price front though. But with CKD being an inevitable fact, we should see more bang for buck if not price reduction. Cheers

The defender used to get fully digital instrument cluster which was very elegant. But because of semiconductor chip shortage they have started to give this analog speedometer which looks pathetic.

This car makes more sense in the Diesel version. But its nothing but Landrover ka Scorpio n, its more of a utility off road vehicle rather than a Luxury vehicle Like Range rover Sport. People are buying these majorly for road presence, very few owners will utilise its offroad potential.
They have Landcruiser Lc300 which sells in few numbers they're happy with that, prado will cost more than 1 cr because of cbu complete import and sales will be very low like earlier prado in India.
A person working at Land Rover told us that it will start building their defender 110 locally from mid 2025 . Yes its confirmed so those who are looking to buy a 110 pls do wait. But the 130 is not going to be built here. I know this because we were panning to get the 130.
Better buy a land cruiser base model if its available in your country . Maybe it will cost a bit more than defender's base model but you will end up saving money in the long run. Defender is too complicated to go offroad. Land rover also doesnt offer a poverty pack variant like land cruiser which is a bummer
