for me Frieren and Ninja Kamui are just amazing, Ninja Kamui is a huge throw back to the Toonami days plus Shinichirō Watanabe (cowboy bebop director) is making his come back on Adult Swim with studio MAPPA with an anime called Lazarus!

Its an HBO MAX exclusive anime as far as I know. I haven't seen it on any other platform.
@@cripple1791 Oh wow, I didn't realize HBO Max was still doing anything with anime anymore. I canceled my sub 2 years ago when they cut most everything I cared about & ditched a ton of anime

Good Lord, that wasn't even the best fight in Frieren up to that point.
Frieren v. Aura had the dramatic tension taking the place of the action and ended with the coldest line in anime history.
Frieren v. Denken was short but good, but the crowning glory of the show was Fern+Stark v. Lügner+Linie.

Facts! I don't know about everyone else but I completely gave up on the anime after the abysmal first episode, went straight to read the manga, and never looked back.
Yeah maybe abysmal is a bit of stretch, there some good parts to it, but the fight scenes, well not so much.

I do not agree with #1 at all.
Something is missing with Ninja Kamui...I tried giving it a chance but it's just...I can't get into it. I don't know what it is but it's like..90% some set up and 10% rushed fights. And rushed as in not completely animated or well thought out. You just see them jumping and striking poses. There are so many fights that I can think of where they are super fast but it's still animated properly. The whole Fog Hill of Five Elements, Asta fights, and list woud go on.
All these seem mid-low...

People are hyping the Jinwoo vs Igris fight. It was cool but Jinwoo vs Kang was so much more saucy. Igris made Jinwoo look like a little boy... And then the winning blow is just luck? Eh.

@@holdthisl8169 What exists in real life? Luck? Sure, but I don't want to see a protagonist win that way. He's supposed to be Leveling up. If he's getting stronger then I want to see him win on that strength and skill, not some lucky shot or happy accident. I would rather see genuine character growth in action.
