@@explorescotland What? St Fillans? Why so. Surely it hasn't changed that much. Or do you mean it's lost it's character. I'm sure if I was back in my wee log cabin behind the loch I'd still be pinching myself. But to be fair it's been 14yrs since I worked there so maybe it has changed. At least I'll always have those beautiful memories.✌️
@@explorescotland There was only 3 hotels and the shop. I know the Drummond shut down but not sure about anything else. I worked in achray house hotel. And yeah it was amazing when I worked there. Sad if that's the case.
I've worked all over the Highlands and islands as a live in chef and St Fillans is by far the best place I had the privilege to work and stay in. My own private cabin just behind the hotel overlooking the mountains and loch, bought a boat and a rod and the rest Is beautiful history. As a slum ghetto boy I always had to pinch myself hehe.✌️
Hello, a very nice tour and the landscape was great. A subscription for you. Best regards 😊👍🏻
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
I miss living and working in Achray house. Best 3 yrs of my life as a live-in chef working in st fillans. Watching this through a sad face. ✌️🏴💚
I am not sure it is as vibrant now as it once was, which is also sad.

Some of the business’s in the town have been boarded up. Not quite sure what the future holds. Sounds like you had the best of times!

Normal early summer day. I was last there about 50 years ago. Still quite recognisable.
Glad it provoked memories!
