Skyspace Meditation with Matthew Lyons

With all the stresses during this time, many have turned to meditation as a source of comfort. We are pleased to offer a meditation featuring James Turrell Skyspace, The Color Inside. Turrell's soothing light sequence has served as a refuge for campus and the greater community since 2013, and is one of the best loved works in our collection. We are happy to share this version that can be experienced from your home.
The light sequence is coupled with a melodic classical guitar composition by Matthew Lyons, commissioned by Austin Classical Guitar for the Skyspace last fall. We hope it delights your eyes and soothes your soul.
