Her black teammates weren't offered the same deals as her because firstly, they never achieved the same level of excellence as her before entering the WNBA, never elevated the game of basketball like she did, as demonstrated by the massive increase in attendance records and viewership records, and simply did not have the same marketability and sponsorship appeal. She achieved all of this through hard work and unrelenting dedication to excellence, and in so doing, became a transcendent talent with massive basketball and cross-over appeal.
