Have you tried the new Vindi game? It feels like dark souls, good graphics and cutscenes but oddly not like vindictus, the alpha test is free on steam rn!
I have played & did a NG+ run so far the game even with its flaws its is promising. It does feel more like dark souls than vindictus but since it's a alpha things will change. I played Fiona in this alpha & its feels like the fighting in the game is more base around her play style which works out great but I feel like lann play style was a little off. Maybe at the end of the day it's me but that just how I felt about it.
it looked like the tracking DURING combos is not as good in the demo of the new game. does that sound about right? like you cant control your character mid-combo as well. that was always a lowkey feature that vindictus had: excellent control, leading to a feeling of fluidity@@Miclipsa

Tried following all the steps but no matter what I do I cant get the game to run over 60 frames.
Go into settings and under "Beta Features" check "Remove Frame Limit"
Any specific reason for using dx10 instead of dx11/dx9?
The inspector settings do not work pass dx 10

Yes it should work just find out what your laptop is using for it's processor & graphics
