u should of grabbed a bf turbo before the tune because the bf turbos where bigger and better than the fg because it was more focused on performance then fuel eco like i have a mate that made 380 kw at the wheels and with a tune and intercooler piping and a 4 inch exhaust

Fg turbo. Squeezed 400 rwkw out of a GTX3576r. Slaughters the 3582. Stock dump. 5 inch cat. Twin 2.5 cat back. Herrod intake.

A stock fg xr6t will be faster than a bf xr6t, they changed to a smaller turbo for performance reasons.

She wont have to worry about this power level when i upgrade again ;)

Dont hub dynos read higher then most roller dynos? meaning your car would actually be about 280-290kw?
Yep they read higher they are only needed with 800hp+ motors that are too much for the rollers. Maxed out smaller fg turbo around 400rwhp (300KW). I'm not trying to be slack I just didn't understand their motive for getting a hub dyno. FPT is an hour away...
@@adami2140 fair. I have my g6e tuned hot 300kw on a dyno that reads lower then others around. Meaning mine is about 320 to 330 I was told by the tuner.
dynos are dynos, the track is the track. they all turn out differently... moroso hp is still not the same from Australia to USA. fun is fun my man. ( didn't care for the vid), bang is bang..... Moroso is a fun way. computers are boring... speed is fun. People will ague no matter what you think. if it goes pop and bang you are on to something good. Beep beep im a sheep.

Ghost cam tune, hell yes! I want this for my turbo now! So (& someone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) that puts you in the vicinity of 550hp at the fly. My car has 300kw at the wheels which is aroundabouts 500hp at the fly. Solid solid tune. Take some care now Man. Making big power is a walk in the park for these things but putting it down when they hit boost is something they don't do very well at all! 😂Power is nothing without control.
It's fun and scary driving a turbo ute pushing 410hp at the wheels (305kw)
My old fg xr6 turbo ute made 500rwhp and 980nm of torque and I had a tru trac diff with 4.11 that was scary once you hit 3k instant wheel spin😂😂😂
@shane marz we're talking wheel vs crank power, and kilowatts vs horsepower. There's two different measurements here confusing you.
If you make 300RWKW, that equates to about 400RWHP. 400RWHP is ABOUT 500HP at the flywheel before losses through the transmission. Through the ZF you lose around about 70-100hp when measured at the wheels. So really, Jason McMillan is kinda on the money. 300kw at the wheels is very close to 500hp at the engine. I'd say more around 470hp at engine. He's just rounding up to make it sound more impressive. Anyone who constantly refers to using HP figure over kilowatts in Australia is just trying to sound bigger than they actually are. And then the people who wanna use engine power over wheel power are just insecure about their car. 300rwkw is a fast street car. No doubts about it, don't have to inflate your ego by saying 'yeah thats 400hp! which is 500HP if you really think about it'. 300rwkw is enough to hand out a lot of chop on the street, just enjoy it and stfu about your power figures when multiplied by different formulas. 300rwkw = 402rwhp, 500hp at the fly is about 402 - 420rwhp. So even though Jason over complicated what he said, Shane, you've gotta read before you comment mate.
What drugs are you taking. 300kw at the wheel means 500 at the flywheel. What you are saying is that you have a power loss of over 100KW through the drive train. Stop talking shit with horsepower at the wheel. Can;t be measured. Losers way of telling people I think I have 500hp.

they can do cams fine for a turbo but they fuck it up for a NA ford
440hp at the tyre is a decent power figure in today's world. Yeah it's not massive but it won't be a slouch either. I've got a VY SS with similar power and it can be a handful if you provoke it. Especially in the wet.

Wondering how much IT cost 4 the PCM TECH (is it software or cpu?)
I'll take a stab in the dark and say software, would be alot easier then having to wire a computer to dash ecu and cruise control

Im not entirely 100% sure, That would be a question for PCMTEC
It is a custom operating system flashed into the standard PCM. It is 100% software only.

As long as you're not exceeding 15 or 16 PSI of boost you can get away with

What cams are in it?. Mine made 430rwhp on 15 psi without cams and software you have. 18 psi might be pushing the friendship a bit much with the 76. I'm sure no dyno will read the same tho. Either way enjoy
They will do 20psi in the midrange. You just need a good intercooler as the intake charge starts to cook by then. It has ghost cams.
How much does fuel cost you weekly? and what fuel do you recomend putting in it.
i would assume its tuned to 98
Mine is on 98 with 430 kw. I say its as efficient as corolla and with power of elephant. 95 to 110 fill up
I had e85 520 kw. I didny like it because 98 is life for everday driving

@@casublegore firstly i have no idea what carmack is. i had 2013 lpg fg. it was so cheap. nothing cheaper than that yet. $55 fill up and was enough for 430 km in city dirving. also the output form lpg was mind blowing for lpg car. it was doing roughly 23 km per 100 km from my memory. as far as i know 98 peterol an fg would be around 14 km however my turbo sites on 13 km per 100.

Good result but remember that's a hub dyno which will read higher than a wheel dyno.
I'd say you have around 500hp at the engine (85hp driveline loss)

Can anyone help me tweak a bog stock 2004 BA six non turbo sedan. Is it possible without internal upgrades. Thanks .
Can't get a lot of power out an NA without dumping big money into it but headers, high flow cats and intake get power numbers up, but a good bang for buck acceleration upgrade is swapping out the diffs to 3.9 if you're reasonable or 4.11 if you're commited. Stock xt ratio is 3.23 and xr6 has 3.45 for reference

The ZF's have an issue with the 1-2 solenoid not kicking back to first at a stop. Also, you need to have a ZF tune as they also tuned it so the box won't kick back to 1st- so sometimes a tune will fix it unless the solenoid itself is shagged.
Advice- don't go overboard like some of us have, leaving a drag strip beast not much good for anything but (like my 709rwkw F6 Tornado with 2 speed powerglide), build something that is an all rounder and isn't a pig to drive on the street

That's the plan my friend D as cool as a car like that would be, id rather have 5 slow cars than one very fast uncomfortable one. :P so the goal with this car was to create the ultimate daily driver with decent, smooth power and could still scare a few people... I think i did alright ;)

@@bigroger1989 a bf mk2 yes lol .. bf mk1 and ba have weak rods and cant handle power .. the fg 3576 tops out at around 330-350kw the 3582 has been pushed to 350-390kw and but thats all on 98 not e85
reason the fg got the smaller turbo is for quicker spool times and better fuel economy

Pcmtec is the way to go, surprised with the torque though.. 520nm seem pretty low? Im at 370rwkw 1005nm in my bf. Guess it all comes down to the set up and tuning

Rick M if you think your 300rwkw actually has 1000nm atw or even at the crank you need to get educated on how these dynos calculate your motive/tractive torque.

Matthew Jamieson has educated me in this area... All good mate. So realistically buddy. What kind of NM would a heavy duty clutch take?
Just warning for when you upgrade mines running 370rwkw atm and as soon as it was tuned to that power my trans started slipping, I'd be doing something with the trans with your next jump also headstuds valvesprings and oil pump gears for ensure that your motor doesnt break the gears or get valve float. Hey mate, I’m impressed, so it seems you are either spot on 300rwkw or just a lil under, congrats! 520nm??? That’s less than a standard v8 plus factoring in the loss, it’s under 500nm. It doesn’t sound right to me, but hey, sounds mad! I’m glad your happy! You will still lick standard v8s regardless as it’s auto, so enjoy z extra powers!
Since it was reading HP was probably also reading ft pounds for torque which converts to around 700NM which sounds more correct for these engines around that power
Brayden Duignan-Teys sounds more realistic, from what I’ve heard and researched 600-700nm is apparently the safe tune for most...
You can't compare the torque due to how a dyno infers the torque value, it is a tuning tool only.
