@Momma Christine metal detecting after u cure it for 7 days. Get oven to 200 degrees. Place bacon in oven, until the internal temp of bacon gets to 150 degrees. Pull the bacon out and let cool down to room temperature. Then slice it up and cook the bacon however u like to cook it

Pork belly. And u don't have to have a smoker. A oven would work also. A smoker just gives the bacon a smoked flavor
