As a car guy at heart I grew up on test drive and grand turismo, I have been waiting for this one and hope it lives up to the test drive name.
Yeah hated that part I get that it was trying to be realistic but it was ludicrous sing your character driving around wearing it and I think I re bear it took ages for you to be able to remove it
The cutscenes look exactly like TDU2. Hopefully, the story and gameplay will improve with time. TDU2 racing was the best of its time in the early 2010s. They will likely be able to replicate all the side stuff in the new game so... parties with other players, and customization of hours from floor to ceilings.
Still waiting in a racing game to get the look-around and wheel proper. GTA does the best job of both. The wheel isn’t terribly jerky and you can look around smoothly, although not as much as I’d like.
Its good to see that Test Drive Unlimited is back. So many memories playing the first 2 games. They better not have a find every road achievement this time though because that took forever to complete.

Remember good ol Test Drive Unlimited, now that game was underrated and absolutely amazing 🔥🔥🔥 I truly hope they don't fuk up the new one test drive unlimited solar crown 🙏🏻 I remember just being in all when the weather would change I could say it would rain you can turn on and off your windshield wipers or blinkers, buying houses and garages, bikes etc in the online community just driving around free roam with such a gem.. I used to play countless hours online with the whole variety of people around the world it was such a small perfect group the free roam was to die for flexin on people with giant houses and garages and just roaming around the city with your peeps

Was going to download the demo today but decided against it the size of the demo was 40 gig for pc😳😳 but I’m really liking the look of this game will be cool to explore Hong Kong island for the first time in a tdu game - also love that we will be able to customise our character which always makes the game feel more personal to the player

Yeah there was test drive unlimited on the ps2, pc, Xbox 360 then test drive unlimited 2 so this will be the third game in the tdu series looks pretty promising from what I’ve seen hope we can buy houses and bikes again

Therefore, if this game reminds you of Forza Horizon, you are right because it is very likely that Forza Horizon was inspired by this game series. What made Test Drive Unlimited special was not only racing and exploring the city but also giving you the feeling that you had a life as a person. I hope they have preserved this aspect in this game as well.

Hey is there motorcycles I this one as well . TDU1 had the ninja Kawasaki that thing was bad ass in the original game. The moment you head on into another car in that game the avatar goes flying and all the sudden you are in a police chase.
This game was first mentioned in 2015 iirc. Took them nearly a decade to release. Somehow it still looks like it was released on the 360. What the hell are the developers spending the money on?
You need to play TDU1 and TDU2. This is a massive downgrade in terms of world size, gameplay, and features. You could buy properties in the older ones and fill your garages with cars. The dealerships looked more realistic.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 is one of my all time favorites. I remember just cruising around Oahu for hours.
Still enjoy the first test drive on the ps2 surprisingly good version even has a first person view
