Could you confirm what is the overall thickness? And thickness of each layer?

I like the replacement-friendly construction of the buckle end. I've avoided some shades of plated hardware that I'd really like to use over concerns of them wearing down over time, but with this it would be easy enough to replace them every once in a while.

    Question:
What are the differences to make an UNstylsh belt of any color, suitable for something like me to wear? 🤔😁

I don't understand you a little bit, do you need a belt for everyday wear ?
You need to decide what kind of trousers you're gonna wear it with.
      Either trousers or jeans.
Then we can figure out how wide you want the belt to be.
You also need your waist circumference to know the length of the belt.
      Thank you.

Buy a strip of leather, best size for casual wear is 1 ½", get it dyed or raw veg if you want to dye it yourself. Mark out on one end of your belt blank ¾" from the end for your first rivet hole (3/16" punch). Make your second hole 1¼" from your first hole, from that ½", 1", ½" 1¼". Mark all of those with an awl of pencil then punch. Then cut two slits to connect the third and fourth hole making it one oblong hole. Then cut a separate leather strap ½" wide and 4⅛" long. Dye all your pieces if undyed. Punch two holes for stitching at either end of the 4⅛" strap and sew both ends together. Now assemble your belt with your chosen buckle and according rivets(I use chicago screws, less room for errors) make sure your ½ belt loop is in place after assembly is finished fit your belt through your loops on your pants and make a mark where it fits comfortably. Take it off and Mark 2 holes either side of this hole with a 1" spacing. Punch all those holes Then cut your belt 3½"-4" behind the 5th hole. Cut in any shape or curve you want. Then your belt is finished. Or just contact me of Facebook at Bessette Leather Company

Generally, what thickness of vegetable leather is best on the inside of the layers?

Only the craftsman who makes the product knows about this, and I, as the one who shows the process of sewing a men's leather belt, do not have this information 😉
      Thanks for your comment!

Hello, try a cow first, it's usually cheap and easy to work with and then, once you get the hang of it, move on to something more expensive - ostrich, snake, goat.
