@@sirtarumarYou have to manually move her so her 5 range can actually see the Bloons and her weapons need to be manually switched in order to make full use of them. That’s extremely micro-heavy.

Because that ability turns on both of her weapons and gives full map cover and from what ive tried later on in the run it basically gets full uptime.. So the hero kinda plays himself without needing to move her or change her weapons
@@user-fl4fc2gb1p That doesn’t happen until level 18, and considering how slow she levels up, you aren’t getting that until the 90’s. For over 90% of the game, she requires a lot of micro, and even when she gets that ability, she still isn’t insanely strong.

This is actually helpful because originally I thought Rosalia leveled up quickly so you can actually get lvl 20 before the late 90's.

pretty average a lot of heroes level up at this speed (around 1.425x more xp required than base heroes)

I am surprised that Rosalia has a slow leveling curve, she's already very unimpressive compared to every other hero in the game, it seems like NK was very worried about her being overpowered, but I don't understand why ^^
Also, I still think that the main problem with the Antibloon discount it just that Rosalia has no Super Monkey synergy in the first place, and instead of this completely random buff, she should be our Heli / Ace buffing commander, less Anti Bloon more sky buffs would do her good

I guess they were worried because 3 out of 4 heroes before could solo CHIMPS on release so they overcompensated in terms of balance this time. Hopefully they change her leveling speed or atleast give her more synergy with middle path super in later updates.

I had hoped that her Lvl20 perk would be that she would be able to just use both weapons or a further buff to aces, or something like that, instead of making a completely random tier 5 30% cheaper.
this is just my take but i think it should also make all engineers 10% cheaper as well

"Oh Guardian Automaton is good for late game attempts since you can save money on antibloon for other more expensive towers!" Remember that Heroes still play a major factor in late game attempts, hence Adora or Ezili being the meta picks. Rosalia could barely even survive the late 90s, and her skills aren't major enough to turn the tide like Adora's light ball or Ezili's percentage damage.

There just isn't a single scenario where she's super useful, in chimps that 5% discount is the only thing super good, in bosses she doesn't really have anything going for her and in freeplay she once again has nothing going for her, the only possible scenario I can think of is maybe a late game chimps run but even then I'm confident other heroes would out perform even when you factor in the cheap anti bloon
Dont forget about psi being able to one-hit ALL non-bads after lvl 20
Don't forget about Geraldo being able to make Degree 100 PARAGONS and make Banana Centrals pay themselves off in 3 ROUNDS
@@FinnishM3mes honestly degree 100 paragons aren't worth bringing Geraldo instead of Adora or Ezili, like it's only a small percent damage increase on all paragons from max level without Geraldo totems, but compare that to Ezili who can provide better percent damage in the 300 round mark, there's no competition.

Well, no. Free upgrades are also mostly useless even when not specific cuz village exists. The only time it's been good is with mauler spam because the tower does so much on top of that. Price buffs are only good when they come in balance patches lmao

100% agreed, the random ass Anti-Bloon discount makes no sense as Rosalia is marketed as a flying hero which buffs other flying monkeys, in what world is the Anti-Bloon related to flying? If you are using Rosalia, you probably try to use more flying monkeys, wouldn't it make more sense if she just discounted ALL flying monkey T5s by like 15% or maybe even more considering the fastest she can reach level 20 is literally after 100.
I think they correlate her more to robots which is the antibloon so why doesnt she buff engineer turrets or something instead

I think it would be significantly better if it made both the x4x and x5x cheaper. Something to consider as well tho, the energize is also reducing the cooldown of anti-bloon by 20%. If they don't wanna buff the 20, I think moving her down an XP tier would be good.
making the x4x cheaper does almost nothing because you will almost certainly have it before rosalia is level 20
my take is that it should be moved down a few levels or her XP gain rate should be increased
@@ShadowViperGaming43 letting it impact x4x means you can get more than one use out of the level 20. As it stands, you can only buy one anti-bloon (or two if you sacrifice to temple). If it affected x4x you could get a lot more value out of the investment. I do agree it just isn't enough. Her power spike at 20 just isn't very good, especially if you aren't going to get it till so late.
I do think the synergy of Rosalia, AB and Energizer is pretty strong tho. Another upside to energizer is it allows Rosalia to have 100% uptime on her level 7, when she hits 18 which is a pretty huge bump for surviving the buildup to AB.
Personally though, I care more about her 5% discount to heli/ace at level 6, it lets you get Flying Fortress before round 90. Perhaps letting this cost saving apply to Energizer as well would make her a bit more flexible.
@@misspotato813 yeah Rosalia's strongest perk is definitely the 5% discount, its always super sketch getting Flying Fortress up in CHIMPS but this helps

What if at level 20 she makes her missle attack the tsar bomba ability
Rosalia is a fun hero to play and a nice middle ground between someone like like Sauda and Corvus; a hero you can place down, do a bit of micro with, but don’t need to constantly monitor them 24/7. The fixes that she needs aren’t even that major, and they can take the easy route too:
-Allow her to attack while being moved around the map manually, because having her stop attacking *until she lands* was just a poor design choice.
-Move the Anti Bloon price discount to between lvl 13-18. You shouldn’t need to have energizer to get her to lvl 20 to get the anti bloon when by the time you reach late 90s, the game is almost over.
Those two changes alone make her better, but I’d much prefer if they just leaned more into buffing helis and Aces. Have her lvl 12 be a +10% attack speed and +2 pierce to all helis and aces, and her discount apply now have global range, and then her lvl 18 be a 15% attack speed boost that stacks, and +2 damage for aces and helis.
From that alone you gave her an excellent niche: She synergies beautifully with Aces and Helis due to their flying nature. If they gave her a price reduction and allowed you to attempt 2TC with say Rosalia and a 0-2-5 Flying Fortress, that’d be dope but that’s a bit too unrealistic.
TLDR: Allow her to attack while being moved manually, move her lvl 20 ability down to lvl 15, or lean into her niche with Aces and Helis, and you’ve made a significantly better hero to use.

When she's on energizer and her jetpack ability is upgraded she can basically use it forever, so i think that level 20 should be permanent pursuit on bloons and make the jetpack ability make her attack faster
i wish nk pulled an Etienne with her level 20 and made her constantly have her jetpack ability on so she could fly around the whole map

But yeah, rosalia will prob end up being one of those niche heroes only used in races once in a blue moon if she doesn't get buffed, as of now, she isnt viable enough to justify using her over other heroes in any gamemode.

She is way better than any of the starter heroes. She beats Brickell, Psi, Pat Fusty and even Benjamin by quite a bit as well. Just use Aces and Helis with her and boom shit gets destroyed.

The second i saw the level 20 description i went "ok this is just there so people have an extra monkey to use in CHIMPS" yet it turns out you barely can do that. They should have made the leveling faster, and made it something like a 50% discount so that the price is that of most expensive CHIMPS towers because if you are gonna bring this hero to freeplay (which is the main intention you will have when its almost impossible to bring this pre-round 100 without just farming) at least have something cool to show for it

A use for it is if you are trying to get a VTSG because you would not need to buy the anti bloon until late when Rosalia is level 20 because you would need a lot of defense and farms to get up to that point anyway
My main issue with her level 20, is that it’s encouraging you entirely to not even invest in Rosalia anymore, and it’s about using the anti bloon instead of her, which functionally doesn’t even make sense. It’s not even like an obyn or adora thing where the monkeys they use work together with each other
The worst part about this is in a gamemode other than Chimps, where you might think it's easier to get the cash for the Anti-bloon and therefore a more useful ability, is that then it being easier to make money means the ability has less importance. In a game where you are even contemplating getting Anti-bloon you've probably got enough cash generation that the amount Guardian Automaton is saving is practically useless. Not entirely useless, but in practicality it does next to nothing, because it's maybe 3 rounds of cash being saved, which really doesn't do much in the grand scheme of things
if her level 20 effected more than the super monkey it'd be cool. Like having a influence on engineer, ace, heli maybe, stuff that she could use the engineer gimmick on way more over just tech terror. Then maybe i could see a lot more strats but even then, there'd just be better options.
I feel like this would make sekce if Rosa got the power of DUAL WEILD like middle path super has. Maybe also add buffs to middle path super and maybe even engie throughout her levels, as she is a tinkerer. And also maybe replace the 30% discount with a 30% cooldown reduction.
I wish she had a bit more in terms of buffing earlier in her lvls since her damage aint too great. Discounting earlier robo monkey upgrades and maybe some kinda buffs to engineers, spike factories and tack shooters fit into her tinkerer theme with all the machines/tech.
they can either speed up the hero levelling up to make it viable (doesnt fix the core problem but it can open up some strats but might break her balancing it), make the discount bigger (which is like adding a bandaid to the wound but wont help with anything) or make it affect more towers, which helps sslightly, like if all heli and ace t5s also get discounts but the slow leveling means no matter what the time sink isnt worth it. The only other way to fix it is by making guardian automaton unlock at like level 17 or 18, at that point it is no longer a big upgrade, but thats the only way to make this completely not worthless. Overall, this perk is just pointless.
While it might not be practical at all, it’s actually interesting and kinda fun to challenge yourself to use this new combo to beat chimps mode. It definitely needs a buff/rework if it’s going to be at least decent though.
Shortly after Rosalia launched I had a dream where lvl 20 also allowed having a second Antibloon, similar to that one XBM MK. It wouldn't fix the issue of that perk being mostly useless, but I found it to be a maybe fun idea if combined with other buffs.

Considering the fact that i almost barely use the Anti-Bloon for actual cases. And only use it for my VTSG's in freeplay. I can agree with this. A good LV20 perk for Rosalia is to have her LV7 ability be permanent. And have the ability enhance her weapon's stats. Similar to Etienne's UCAV. That would make it way better.
You can actually go for the energizer first, if you go for the bottom path on the sub, and also unsubmerge it for moabs and some cerams. Bottom path pierce is really important for pierce and Rosalia can pop leads with bomb gun

I have an idea for a better one, it switches guns based on an ai system that judges which would en best, increased travel range and new movement modes, separate upgrades of course, but ideas 1 and movement upgrades could be a level 20
I really think she should be a fast leveling hero like Etienne, Quincy, etc. She's ok but not the strongest already and fast leveling would do a lot to justify the level 20 price drop for antibloon and likely would still leave her as good but not overpowered

I wish it was more general support instead of just one tower. Something like every mechanical upgrade is 15% cheaper or something
On Boneyard, I was able to get energizer round 59, and if I didn’t suck at ability timing and positioning with Rosalia I would’ve gotten it round 57 had I not spent it on getting my super monkey x21 for round 55. Afterwards it was mostly smooth sailing if I used the right weapons and positions. I got x52 Super round 95, but I had to spend 9K on upgrading Rosalia to level 20 from 19. Since she just got level 19 after round 94.

her level 20 discount should apply to engineers and stuff like tack shooters and bomb shooters, as well as maybe buff robo monkeys and above or engineers like gwen does with ring of fire and fire wizard monkeys

The (not so) recent buff to unsubmerged energizer shouldnt be looked over, can also use some glue/dart monkeys for sub intel
I think they should rework her discount to either make robo monkeys and tech terrors cheaper, or for this to hit at an earlier level do you can just save up for and use anti-bloon sooner. Right now Rosalia is a pretty weak hero overall, so I think she could use a buff like that anyway

about 3 months ago i lost my btd6 account so i started playing on xbox qnd now i have EVERY upgrade on EVERY tower on xbox (including paragons)
I've tried this "challenge" before and the route i take is so stupid it works
Tldr: dart sub start
Get Rosalia on round 10
Get an xx1 village and then start upgrading the sub to reactor
Get reactor, then upgrade the village to xx2 and get another xx2 village nearby
Place the Super monkey close to the villages, and round 40 is free
R41 - R55 you do nothing but micro Lia's guns and targeting
R56 you get the energizer and from there you get the super to Tech Terror w/top crosspath
After that you get an overclock to buff the super and a snowstorm (remember to get the top crosspath so it can stall DDTs)
And by R98, you should be able to get the Anti-bloon and win

They should honestly make it so her lvl 20 makes Anti Bloon straight up free. Like, you're only ever getting her to level 20 in late round 90's anyways, and if you spend money on her to get her to level 20 faster, your still seeing more than the cost of Anti Bloon. I don't see a game mode where such a change would be over powered.

i did this on off the coast and she got level 20 at level 94 ish but i needed to spend money on a couple other things so she was level 20 but the money wasnt there

the only time where I see this being useful is in freeplay, but then again, in freeplay you will likely have so many farms that saving 30k won't help much and on top of that other heros do it better so yeah it's pretty useless
Okay, based on the comments I've read, and some of my own opinions, here's what I think they should do. I want to keep this to 6 simple suggestions, with the plan that these should be the first steps, and see if they balance out Rosalia, and hopefully not make her overpowered.
1. Rosalia's XP gain should be increased just a tad. Enough to make it so she can reach LV 20 before Round 100.
2. The Anti-Bloon discount, if not removed, should be brought down to Lv 17 or 18. Not too high, but enough that it can be more reasonably achieved.
3. An Engineer discount should be added for one of her levels, to give Rosalia more syngery and use with other towers.
4. At LV 20, Flight Boost should become a permanent Pursuit, in the same vein as Etienne's LV 20 UCAV. The ability is permanent, and if you use the manual ability, it should temporarily empower it. Perhaps it allows to Rosalia to fly and attack faster, increase her damage, or make so the attack boosts she gets for every tenth shot happens more frequently during the duration. (Maybe her Flight Boost becomes permanent, except she still only uses one of her weapons unless you use the active ability. It's an idea, but I'm not sure it's enough.)
And some more minor stuff:
5. She should be allowed to attack when you reposition her and she's flying to her new spot.
6. I think the 10th shot attack boost I mentioned should buffed to every 5th shot, perhaps as one of her mid-to-late-level upgrades
it would be pretty good on co-op to get 4 anti bloons
though one player would have to focus their cash on leveling her up
or hear me out one VTSG and three TSGs
I'm still trying to figure out why she doesn't just work a Brickwell but for air towers. Instead she offers 1/10th the amount of utility for air towers then Brickwell does water towers. AND she's not even a good standalone tower like Brickwell is. And the water towers in this game are more versatile and generally better than the air towers.

Guardian Automaton could be useful in boss battles, I once made anti bloon alongside ace paragon to face tier 5 boss

And lets be real if u wanna do low cost chimps run and ur willing to use a micro heavy hero js use corvus
Here is my proposition on what Rosalia should do in later levels(though keep in mind they're purposely vague cuz Im not a balancing expert so I'll let you guys do the numbers and level decisions for me :] ):
-Replace the Anti-bloon discount thing with huge discounts to the Monkey Ace and Heli Pilot tier-5s.
-Make her be able to give passive buffs to anything airborne(example being airship planes and phoenix) like increase flight speed(yeah I know the first ability already does that but why is it ability only thing and not a passive???), increase pierce, increase damage and lower ability cooldown and it gets stronger the higher level Rosalia is.
-Just make her have the same leveling speed curve as Quincy and Gwen.

According to NK Guardian Automaton is meant to be a "fun" factor to add some extra meme strats and was never meant to be taken seriously. The real highlight of level 20 is the megabuffed scatter missiles and kinetic charge.

Tbh i expected raluca (we the brazilian community of BTD6 calls her that name because she resembles an brazilian youtuber called raluca) aka rosalia to buff also a bit of the middle path super monkey or other tech based upgrades or towers like an pierce, damage or range buff, not a 30% discount on anti-bloon on lvl 20 which i learned from this vid, takes too much time and is impratical on an more harder run on an more harder map or in CHIMPS in any map
