@@carlosleal7g this is my humble advice go with what office toyota website says about torque, but for us we do it every day we can have two engines dayly or even 4 engines (2l,3l,5l) the torque setting have already been transferred to our head not in the spanners 😂 hope you get it😂, but here is our settings, cylinder head bolts: step one: 22 Ft-lbs. step two: tighten additional 90 degrees step three: tighten additional 90 degrees
@@Africanmechanics actually I replaced head gasket about 3 months ago. Now a coolant hose exploded and overheated. The head and 3rd cylinder have coolant and water damage in the head around the 3rd cylinder. There's also a crack. I think I did nothing wrong last time, head was tested and machined before. Now it's a new head

Not sure but the difference is only at the piston area but everything else is same,,,

Hello! Does the block crack? I'm replacing a cracked head of a 5L and I don't know if the block has problems. Help please
Yes the block also Crack, you can do some pressure test,,, but you can first change the head then monitor it's behavior,
