One of the best performances you will ever witness. I was there on the night and it made the hairs on the back of my nect rise. It was such an emotional performance sung by two very talented singers. They will both go very far.

One major mistake most English-speakers (American and British alike) while singing Italian/Spanish songs is making their Ds and Ts too hard, like in English. It puzzles me, as they usually get 'most everything else right. But no matter - these two are amazing.

While Henry Mancini WAS a brilliant musician (and a favorite of mine), he is not the author of this piece. It's a reworking (with alternate lyrics) of the theme from Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet, written by Italian composer Nino Rota, also known for scoring The Godfather.
"L'amore supererà gli ostacoli e le MARIE delle avversità..." Già. le MARIE -.-'' tante Marie che si scansano... per la paura. Bravi comunque, belle voci. Peccato per la pronuncia.
Si lo comparo con los italianos que cantan en Español, lo mismo sucede, lo siento por la pronunciación. Lo mas importante es la calidad de la interpretación. no si mi paisano habla correctamente el idioma.
Hi! Jackie Evancho sang this song in her album "Dream With Me".. but she did it in english (A time for us) :[.. I'd have preffered the version in italian, anyway the performance was amazing like always!
@djlowe75 I'm not a huge fan of this version of this song, either, but it might be interesting to see how Josh Groban and Hayley (or maybe even one of the other Celtic Women) would do together. :)
I like Josh Groban's version much better it is amazing. I get teary eyed and goose bumps every single time I listen to it lol

she has such a great voice, his just dsoent appeal, hard to say why maybe its just the tone..
'sensa' instead of senza, 'sfucce' instead of sfugge, 'verà' instead of verrà, 'fiorerà' instead of fiorirà, 'sfelrà' instaed of svelerà, 'delaversità' instead of delle avversità. he is nearly perfect, she absolutely not. I like them very much when they sing in english but I can't stand them when they sing in italian especially her.
