I lived for four years in mainland China (Guangzou) and every time I needed some glamour and civillisation, I went to Hong Kong. It was always a thrill when I arrived at Hong Hom Station. I recommend the Renaissance Harbour View. And book a Room with harbour view. It is lovely to see Victoria harbour at your feet, when standing at the window :) Hong Kong is the most fascinating, exciting and lovely city I have seen and have been to. When I feel homesick and miss Hong Kong, I watch this video and experience all the memories I carry in my heart... Seeing Hong Kong is falling in love with Hong Kong. Live it love it. Hong Kong.
I saw this promo back in 2005, on National Geographic. Since that day, I wanted to travel to HK. I finally got the chance to go in 2010, one of the best times for me. Let's see if I can go again in 2023 :)
I have been here two times and I love the place although they don't speak mandarin and the bathrooms are so small I hit my head going in there while at a restaurant.
I love how they dont mention racism in this video. Hong kong chinese are the most racist people i have ever come across! Im Cantonese Australian and have lived in Bali, Singapore, Malaysia and have never been treated like an immigrant before. Dark skinned i may be and thats where it all starts. If u look Thai, vietnamese, nepalese, cambodian etc u will be discriminated upon and that is the truth. Its disgusting!
I love Hong Kong.!!!
香港是我的第3故乡。
一年5~6次正去香港出差。
