Dear Sam, I am the sfx makeup artist for this transformstion, the only reason I painted the eyelids brown was for an aesthetical purpose for the camera. Since we were covering the eyes at the end of the transformation to complete the look and instead of keeping the eyes aparent, I decided to paint brown so you can start imaginning the final result and not see flashy skin color human eyes during the tutorial. Hope I answered your question 🤗
@@MichelElGhoul I figured it was to cut down on the amount of light shining into the lens that would take away from the special eye effects.....but previous reason stated would be more plausible
@@MichelElGhoul ah! I have been looking for something like this but haven't found it! I'm not skilled enough to sculpt my own. I also don't have an airbrush. What make up did you use to create the look please?
Did you make it out of latex? Use your model or a mannequin head? Also how did you make the lens eyes? I want to be an alien for Halloween, but seeing the work, seems better to do it to one of my friends instead! After all they have to give me half of their prize money. Lol! And we haven't lost yet in the 2 years I've done them. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (me) place were all my makeup effect costumes! I do have an airbrush but haven't used for Halloween yet, just regular makeup. @@MichelElGhoul
Have you ever seen a UFO? 👽
Fantastic work! Love the whole look and the model looks like she enjoyed herself once the look was done.
why did they paint her eyelids brown only to cover it with some kind of lens?
