...no shit....every Knipex tool I've ever owned, and I own several, and have owned them for 30+ years, has been WONDERFUL......some times, when I use one, I'll pause to think about how bitchen it is, and realize that it just paid for itself in lost frustration....AGAIN.......THAT'S a GREAT TOOL...............

Got to get each Knipex pair in Comfort grip AND standard dipped plastic...Just incase of your mood...Sad to say, I have this exact issue, Linesman pliers, Wrench pliers, all sizes of Cobras, the same set, in different grips!

I have always sworn by my Engineer PZ-59 Neji-Saurus, Screw Remover Pliers but these new Knipex pliers have just upped the anti a significant degree and will undoubtedly soon be in my toolbox :-) Just gotta' find a seller.

I hated slip joints before because they always felt too loose when you used them. So I always preferred the duck nose pliers but kept the slip joints for the versatility. Now, I have to get these and throw out those old slip joints.

This front jaws remind me of my vampliers, which work hell good actually. I do have a large pair of knipex that are amazing as well. I won't be surprised if they get sued, or if the vampliers design has expired.
Vampliers are a brand. Japanese manufacturer engineer I believe make them.

Kind of, but looks to have more adjustability. When I first saw the vampliers I thought they were an amazing concept, but in the 5+ years I've own them I have never found a good occasion to use them.

Just looked... as of this writing (6/18/2021) KC Tool wants $40.15 for the 82 01 200 with regular grips; and $45.42 for the 82 02 200 with 'comfort' grips. Prices don't include tax, shipping etc. They claim they'll ship sometime in July 2021.

@Minix Tvbox Ok. I wonder if it's a quality control issue. I have several Engineers, for many years. They get used often. I fix appliances. Salt water from the ocean kills fasteners. I've not come across this problem with my pliers.

You can introduce also the screw removal function on your Cobras and other pliers….I don’t think Engineer Japan will be happy though😅 and when can we get the smaller version of this.

The only mistake I made with my twin grip pliers is I didn't realize they had comfort-grip available in it. Now I have to get another pair but that's okay because what could be better than one pair of twin grip pliers is two pairs? Sadly one of them will get picked nine times out of 10 over the other. But that's okay because I was sure I'll put a beating on them in the next decade or two..
