@@oldtimer-Z It should be a big cat by now. I am watching your videos because I am dreaming about an NSU Max for quite a long time now.

Just enjoying watching you at play !, takes me back a few years when I enjoyed doing the same to my NSU Max 250. The one you are working on looks very original indeed. Some of the very best engineering and attention to details throughout the whole motor cycle. Do I see a similar one in the background part restored.?.
As a matter of interest are you professionally trained or self taught over many years of teaching yourself. . BrianW.

Oldtimer restauration . My father was born in 1910 so grew up with tractors, cars, motorcycles and so on and so learned how to repair them etc. I was born in 1941 and from a very early age was always with him “helping” him. He was a very strict teacher and insisted I did everything correctly. So I-had no recognised formal training, just a life time of fixing things, my main interest was always motor cycles. I have worked on just about everything up to around 1990 when I decided things were getting too big and too complicated for my age !. I always did enjoy working on stuff somewhat older but made my living with a small motor cycle business which due to lots of new regulations became something difficult to enjoy. I think the NSU machines were some of the best engineering ever, many years in advance of other makes. Never did get to own or work on a unit constructed Horex though. Enjoy your hobby, I will look for more videos. Brian Williamson (Spain).

@@BRI33NOR I also lived on the village ,drive tractor and trailer when I was 12 year old :) .I never had any teacher but from my young age I have dismantle everything that my hand could get :):),that is how I learn to repair stuff , by breaking them first .
