Don't comment without knowing about someone's life and their legacy.
Contribution to village , city , state and nation does not come only through building schools or ashrams or donating to temples and NGOs.
One can most certainly contribute to society by looking after the people living in it , by teaching them how to lead a healthy and high life.
The problems in the life of us (householders) is not really every time resolved by great people making or doing great things in the outside world. We sometimes need someone to guide us like our mother , we need someone our very own.
Sri Sarada Devi was " the mother " of our house or as we like to call it 'our own mother' .
A mother to teach us how to be better as human beings.
Her simple teachings like "Look at your own faults " , " Never fear , because you are the child of the immortal " , "Strive to be a bit more compassionate " , " Don't be rude " , "Stay in the path of truth" and many more simple teachings( which none of us follow in our day to day lives and then suffer with quarrels and turmoil ) have made great changes in ones household . From a house of daily quarrels and troubles to a house of peace and understanding .
Her teachings have made many jewel of sons and daughters with a character.
Yes , her disciples were men of character and truth , unlike other hypocrites.
And better people , means better society automatically, you will find that people like these can one day change the society , they become the parents of good offspring and carry a hope of better future.
Sri Sarada Devi taught her children how to become a better human being (A Duty only a Mother can do the best) .
We need more women like her , more mothers who will teach their daughters to be like Sri Sarada devi.
A spiritual person may accepts this theory but others won't . They will justify this due to science and feminism
True. I am a follower of Ma and I also don’t fully buy this. Ma came on earth to show Man and woman the right path. How we then take this is left to that person.
Whether anyone accepts it or not is irrelevant. Truth is the truth and none can change it. People think they are the achievers of great deeds, they scarcely understand the hidden hand of God brhind their success. Thus boosting their ego they pass from this world without understanding the truth.

Didi I remember a thrilling pamphlet by Sri Aurobindo Bhavani Mandir.Mother is not in our brain, heart and muscles and that is the reason we are weak.Swamiji and even Sri Aurobindo tremendously emphasized on Adi parashakti for INDIA. These backstage happenings we can't understand we can only see the results and everything subtle is closed for us forever.What India lacks was the question and Sri Aurobindo said not knowledge,not wealth but Shakti.

Sarada mas tapasya awoke the dormant kundalini shakti of people and helped them overthrow rotten customs. This is how women got liberated all over the world. Her spiritual force was at play to bring transformation in hearts and minds.
