Yep, he was rapid in his early years, hitting 90mph, now he's a fast medium.

His action now is his original action and they changed it because they were worried about stress fractures but then he got Injured so went back to his original action
christopher stanley Hard to say, personally think reverting back to his original action extended his international career by nearly a decade. The stress on his body on the altered one was massively unnatural and caused a lot of pain you could tell.
@@fcfcfcfc7813 thats what i mean, if the ECB hadnt tried to tinker with him and leave him be, he wouldnt have been out of the england squad for nearly 3 years, add that 3 years of taking wickets to his tally and he would be up there with warne and murali easily

Waqar had more swing then him and wasim on any conditions and provided that andreson was not good with the old ball meanwhile wasim and waqar both had even more reverse swing then swing

@@avnishpanwar9502 Agreed - *_against_* the swing - Alfred needs to watch it on x0.25 speed. Actually, although the 12:45 looks like it should be a conventional off-cutter, there's actually some strange wrist action that looks almost like a fast-bowler googly. Strange magic.....

Jimmy Anderson will be sorely missed when he does finally call time on his stellar career for England. A master of swing bowling, he has kept himself fit and slim and has had very few injuries over the years. I don't think there are any young bowlers in England with the potential to become the new Jimmy Anderson. A great servant of English cricket for 18 years.
I think he is most under rated Bowler. Reality is he is more impressive then others. More than 50% of his wickets r clean bowled out and 90% r behind the stumps. Very few lbw bcoz he is master of bowled out not simple bowled out but wickets in the air. Perfect arm bowler. Nvr terribly beaten by any batsman. Good human good player. A legend himself.

Anderson a true master class. In this video his first wicket was exactly the same as he clean bowled Murali Vijay by a beautiful outswinger in 2018 india's tour of england. Anderson + wicket keepers from his debut to till now are Alec Stewart,Chris Reed,G. Jones,Matt Prior,Johny Bairstow, and now Jos Buttler.
