- Hi everyone! I'm bringing yet another one of my personal mixes, in today's video I'll be presenting you my take on the track "She Drives Me Wild".
The song was originally recorded during the "Dangerous" album sessions, But in this mix I'll be reconstructing the song as if it were made during the "Thriller" album sessions! Please leave any suggestions for future mixes!

Written and recorded in 1981 during the early thriller sessions, this was one of the many songs recorded for Thriller. This was on Jackson’s favorite tracks and was heavily influenced by James Brown and Old School Funk Music. Quincy Jones enjoyed the track but though there were better choices for the album. Michael would come back to this track with Teddy Riley in 1991 and rework and release it on the album Dangerous which came out the same year. The original version would we leaked by Quality Mixes October 14, 2022.

She drives me wild was actually recorded in 1985 5 years after Thriller was made it was just updated for dangerous because I have the original to it and it sounds nothing like it does now or when it was released just like the Earth Song the Earth Song was made in 1988 then it was updated for dangerous but it was never used and then got updated again and we worked for history and while we're on the subject Blood on the Dance Floor is a dangerous track it just wasn't released in time for dangerous and another thing for all time is a thriller track it's not a dangerous track or a bad track it was remixed for bad but it's for throwing originally because in my original copy of Thriller that was the original song before lady in my life was put on there lady in my life is the replacement

Lol highly unlikely. MJ wasn’t doing this sound in 89-90. The original song from the album was recorded during that period and he was heavily into the new jack swing sound by that point.

What plugin do you use to make your remixes and on what software?
Would have been nice to hear the beat/drum lowered for a few moments, kind of like a bridge. I feel like that would have given this a better overall feel. But it's great either way

I have to say I like this version more. The backing tracks on Dangerous get so repetitive after awhile, and I like the musicality of this 80s version.

_She Drives Me Wild_ was actually rather quite a disappointment, in my opinion ...
So obviously stolen from Roxette's _The Look_ ...
No wonder never released as a single; but the craziest thing was actually that they indeed released it along with the _Heal the World_ (!) single, as a B-side! I'm not sure whether that was a proof for good taste ...
I mean, _Heal the World_ was among others a song especially for (or about) and also _by_ children, wasn't it? And they release it together with _She Drives Me Wild_ on the side B, a song which deals obviously with sex!? ...
