- Winter is around the corner..oh wait it's here lol. The KA24de 300zx project car gets some much needed love. I assume the crash impact on my JDM Nissan Gloria Y32 caused the tail light and brake light fuse to pop..so we diagnose that issue. It's always a pleasure taking the RB25det 240sx S13 for a spin around the block to end the session!

@@PrizzaMikei have a friend that changed 4 times in one winter. Had really bad luck with small rocks flying behind trucks on the freeway.(they mix rocks and salt in croatia for snow conditions).

Was talking to some dude that apparently was on his 2nd windshield OF THE YEAR, couldn't comprehend this having just replaced a windshield on my daily that had a 20yo genuine windshield

I just drained the break-in oil for my KA Xterra 2 days ago, and the filter I installed was an M1-110A. I guess the Mexican and Japanese blocks have different threads.
Speaking of, It might be worth taking a look at your local junkyards for a Mexican KA (Frontiers and Xterras) to snag the oil filter housing off of one, it should only run you about $20; if I remember right they angled the oil pressure mount facing more downward (as opposed to in-line with the filter like the Japanese filter housing. I believe the mating surfaces are the same to the block, but I'm not 100% sure.
They also changed the design of the cast to more of a 45* elbow, whereas the 240SX cast was straight with only the filter mounting surface being clocked to that angle, so it should make it easier to reach the filter (more likely it's going to be worse to change by leaking onto your suspension components like it does on mine).
P.S. That 15A fuse you replaced first was marked "Stop Lamp", the 7.5A one after was marked "Tail Lamp". If you ever need to translate panels like that, Google Lens is a lifesaver.
Man, so happy it was just fuses for that. Rn my 328i bmw is just being a massive pain. Cold weather is just making gremlins appear, tho im hyped for all 3 of those cars running and fixed up. Now we wait for the integra.

Good to know about the taillight circuitry affecting auto trans cause my Son's Vert does this where its been without power since we got it and building it rn. It's was frustrating towing it home and rolling it working on it! 🤯

I've seen a few videos of guys disassembling aftermarket oil filters to inspect quality and price differences and the the eXL STP brand ranks pretty good if I remember correctly. Look it up if ur interested in that sort of content. One guy I like to watch is project farm he does lots of unsponsered comparison videos. Idk if he did a oil filter review though. I think that was someone else. Ok now I'm just rambling on. Keep up the good work ✌

I worked at a center and did quite a few Nissan oil changes and literally every one from some point in the mid to late 80s' to now, all use the same filter threads and gasket diameter.
And the Mobil 110A filter will fit your DC.

remote mount the z oil pressure sensor. take out the 240 one and replace it with a fitting and an AN line and then you can mount the new sensor any where you want to the end of the AN line
Imo Mike I think the R33 wheels look clean on the Gloria, the 240 should have the OG chrome wheels, and the 300zx should have the G1 all 4 corners on your cars 👍

if you planning to upgrade the gopro 9 you could get a insta360 ace pro (the one with leica lens). its better on lowlight vs gopro too. you could get an entry level mirrorless camera like the zv-e10 which got better image quality but the down side is you have to rock it with a gimball (action camera still got the best in house stabilization)

The Google translate app is great for looking at Japanese with your camera and translating it live on your phone. I use it to play Japanese arcade games, I can’t read the menus lol. Love the content brother.

You may have to hit the junk yard to find a front-end for your Z. Or maybe your Z guy friend may have a spare front
