    Love how you articulated this! I feel the same in that pilates makes me strong, balances the strength in my body (so I’m not lopsided!) makes me feel so good and helps me to know my body.
    It IS a way of life! Some people I say that too find that too encompassing or ominous. I see it as a simple explanation. It’s part of my everyday and helps me do the rest of all that I do. ❤

    I'm in the same boat. Originally thought Pilates would help me drop some weight, but it just ended up boosting my physical condition. Been using Aspect Health for a month now, turns out my weight issue is all about hormonal stuff. Still sticking with Pilates though, totally agree it's more of a lifestyle thing :)

      I'm so happy you found the help you needed. Hormones are really key when it comes to the weight we are. And Movement should be a lifestyle. Its so important for our bodies to move daily. xx~LL

    I started Pilates without worrying weight loss. I found myself and the strength and weakness of my body as you said. Now, it is a lifestyle for me. During this time, I managed to balance my diet along with Pilates which led me to lose 6kg in a year.

    I am a long-distance runner who started doing Pilates over 7 years ago because of an injury. I would say that it definitely made me more aware of my breath, body and mind overall. I would say for weight overall, a good diet and the right amount of cardio, you will notice a difference. Also after running a marathon or doing my long distance runs, I noticed that my recovery would be so much better than before doing Pilates. I learned to breath better and concentrate other workout into my core.
