Really nice pattern I can see this working in saltwater as well. I bet rockfish and Lings would crush this!
Mui bien amigo
thanks, was pleased
Hey man, awesome pattern. Just wondering if you have ever fished it stopping the pattern just after tying the tube in, without the front station?
You maybe want to have a look at a dubbing block so you can lie your thread down first before adding materials on top. a far easier method.
hey Trevor have you tied any of these with pink grizzly hackles for the longer clasper tentacles? I'm sure you have thought of it , any reason why not? tangled mess perhaps? Thanks for sharing very cool pattern.
Yep the grizzly ones look awesome
That's a nice fly, what action do you put into the fly when your fishing it. What density of line is best to fish it correctly.
We just swing it, or strip it. Line density doesn't matter.
@@OPSkagit Thanks! I will give a go. 👍
That's not the point Carl. Watch the innovator, Jerry French and his composite loop videos on this UA-cam site or the OPST site. It's not about speed it's about the construction, and composition of the loop. It takes patience to do this, young grasshopper.
That's the truth, Jerry is the man no question.

I’m afraid of this fly / I might sauté it and throw on a tortilla.
Thanks!
