    I use all three of the tools you showcased. I also have some of the large and small round flat brushes. I love ink blending and they all have their uses for different looks and techniques. Thank you for sharing and demonstrating how each tool can be used.

    I Just Started Playing with the Domed Foam Blending Tool, and Yes They are a Game Changer! I Lobe Them! I Struggled with the Flat Round Ones...I Also Have the Brushes, and Value Those for Lighter Blending. Thanks for the Video! Take Care, and Be Safe.

    Fun video! I enjoy using both the round blender (the domed sponges are a huge improvement) as well as blending brushes. I agree with you that each provides a great look. Thanks again for your informative videos!

    Good Tips Simon. Originally I have been using the flat foams. Then I also got the little color coded brushes, which I like but they make my hands and arm hurt 😞 so I may get the rounded foams.

    I have both the blender brushes and domed brushes, and I never realized they had different results. Are the finger daubers sufficient, or do the blending tools work much better? Thank you.

    do you press or lightly touch the paper?

    • @simon.hurley
      @simon.hurley  3 роки тому +1

      Both tools I apply a pressure to depending on how dark I want the color to turn out. :)

    It's really interesting that, with the stencil, the blending brush has a hazier look to the COLORED areas, but the blending foam has a hazier edge to the LINES.

    • @simon.hurley

      Yes, I was surprised as well! I had never compared them side to side like that before... just depends on what look you are going for on the project. :)

    My daughter had a question about your ink line: why, after starting with 12, are there 23 ink colors, not 24?

    • @simon.hurley
      @simon.hurley  3 роки тому +2

      We are releasing them slowly. The line of inks is not complete... adding a few colors every few months. :)
