This is quite in stark contrast with most other options that I have seen/ invested in the past - there, the winner is clearly not you! So far, the only thing with that time frame for me was a PPF account. Thankfully, with weekendinvesting and the smallcases, there seems to be a good, practical option on the table. Plus youngsters in their 20s can really afford to have a 30-40 yr horizon to build a treasure.
I started investing in MI MT allcap smallcase exactly one month back and as of today my portfolio is up 20%. Long long back when I had started investing in mutual funds, I was told to keep an annual cagr expectation of 12 to 14%. Weekend investing and its products are miles ahead of any MF. No doubt, that the journey is long and there will be both ups and down where I would need to be patient. But nevertheless, I have firm belief in the process and methodology followed by Mr. Alok Jain and his entire team. 2^19 is the answer - 5.2 Lac.. on day 1 you start with 1 rupree
