- Producer Irwin Allen combined two episodes from his series "The Time Tunnel" into a feature-length version titled "Aliens From Another Planet." This is the opening segment, which includes a brief summary of the series' basic plotline.
They can’t duplicate these style of amazing masterpiece
They exist through the memories of those who lived the era
Thanks to the uploader and UA-cam we can somewhat reminisce about those era
Those artists from 50’s, 60’s and 70’s were magnificent and enormously creative in originality not like the copy and paste so called artists these days
TTT DVD release shows footage of the tunnel rings being built. An engineers nightmare to get the tunnel to look symmetrical from the front, but side angles show a different story. Amazing,
If Irwin Allen had created Star Trek, rather than sparkling and fading out in the transporter, the characters would have exploded.
Well they did get thrown from side to side on the bridge just like the crew of the Seaview in "Irwin Allen's, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". (Uses dramatic voice over)

The time tunnel sound is the same as the sound made by the Jupiter-2 when it takes off.
Both are Irwin Allen productions and he did use the same effects in all four of his shows.
This summary is carefully edited to (1) remove all scenes of Gary Merrill other than long-shots and (2) to avoid explaining why Doug changes into a 1912 suit when he goes in the Tunnel!
I believe that is the beginning theme music to “ Time Tunnel.”
This was an intresting idea-editing several of "THE TIME TUNNEL" episodes,and selling
them as 5 made for TV movies! 20th Century Fox TV did this with their 1974 TV version
of "PLANET OF THE APES",and episodes from their CBS series,"CADE'S COUNTY"
from 1971-72. these Time Tunnel movies first appeared on TV in mid 1982,and at that
time,it was a welcome site! don't know if Irwin Allen was behind these re-editing jobs,
since he was at Columbia Pictures TV doing "CODE RED" at the time,for ABC-TV
Well The Time Tunnel worked in a way. The General and Anne ended up in the 23rd century then Tony ended up as a holographic singer in the 24th century.
I got the Tony in the 24th century reference (Deep Space 9), but The General and Anne in the 23rd century?

Fun Fact Lee also played Catwoman in the 1960's Batman as did Julie Newmar. Julie was also in Trek as Eleen in Fridays Child.

El Túnel del Tiempo es otra de las series favoritas y geniales de los 60. Es extraordinaria.
En cambio, lo que es desagradable, es que reduzcan el tamaño de la imagen. Sería mucho mejor verlo en toda la amplitud de la imagen del video.
Cual es la razón para que se acorte la imagen . Personalmente creo que ver la serie en imagen expandida es mucho mejor.

I heard they did put together a show where the travelers found their way back to their own time period but it never aired.

@@Tazzman225 I think I've seen it, if I recall Tony makes it back to the control room but everyone there is frozen in time. He has to go back into the Time Tunnel to allow their time to flow again.
@@bobblum5973 --- That one aired. Tony got caught in a time warp and had to reset the time controls and return. I heard there was a final episode where both travelers came back.
