yes jung kook as a solo artist is so fresh and new yet he’s already being co signed by every legend imaginable and was already co signed by all of them by himself when he WAS just in the group 😫 him solo headlining the WORLD CUP and being seen as the greatest korean male singer of all time by rolling stones, plus him having every “first korean/kpop” record in history + just ALL TIME records (ie seven being the fastest SONG in history to reach a billion streams. period.) let me know he is for sure up there with legends EASILY. he surpassed a many too. all of the legends see this. i’m soooo happy for him because there has not been a talented artist like him in decades.

He’s had tattoos for a while. Unfortuanlty when making Korean content, for example shows or interviews, they require him to cover them up, due to censorship rules. He has them open on regular content, lives, and interviews out of Korea though.
Lol the sleeve tattoo isn’t new. He’s had it since 2019, but he’s definitely added more and got some retouched. Maybe added some color in there as well

The music hits, but I would ask people to go a little deeper. The entirety of K-POP is rooted in BLACK music. Respect isn't just co labs, it's rooted in beliefs held and promoted. BTS put their $$$ where their mouth was and made donations to BLM, which was appreciated. However, Asia is very colorist, and holds extremely racist beliefs about Black People. Consuming someone's culture esp. for profit, doesn't equal respecting someone's culture. Often Africa is derided in entertainment. Meanwhile, China is trying to lead in colonization 2.0 of Africa. Black men (basketball, music, and strength) are stereotyped for cool points, and Black women are consistently stereotyped as ugly across Asian media. If you can't appreciate our Doctors, Scientist, Educators, and Historians, then you don't really respect Black people. In the words of Tupac Shaker "since we all came from a woman... Got our name from a woman... I think it's time to kill for OUR women... Time to heal OUR women, be real to OUR women." It's important to realize also that it's impossible to ally with anyone else while you hate yourself, and hold internalized racist beliefs. Korea is Asia's home of plastic surgery, and the #1 is racial characteristic erasing eyelid surgery, and skin bleaching to cadaver levels of whiteness. Please be mindful of promoting or accepting any group that in the end may do more harm than good.
