Saw them yesterday, thumping loudness as i walked up the steps of the 6 to the L. Then the dancing started happening, my dancing. Theirs is an amazing virtuoso display of talent that makes your bones shake to the beat of the drums while the saxo/trumpet make your heart pump and race. Missed my train, well worth it.
Yeah, The sound is coming only from one side... And the dude is pushed out of the way.. I didn't like that attitude. They were both performing, The guy did a good kind of dance and he obviously wasn't trying to get all the attention. He even recognized their work by giving some money.... They could share the love a bit more or maybe the fame is already starting to get over their heads... But that's just a possibility, I wasn't there, maybe the guy was just irritating them, I don't know..
Are you kidding? "Obviously not trying to get all the attention"? He obviously WAS. Why do you think he planted himself right smack dab in front of the group, basically blocking out the trumpeter? He wasn't just jigging along on the sidelines like most people who enjoy the music do. He barged right in and it was damn rude. On top of it, he's a poor dancer. If he wants to busk, he can go elsewhere and find a spot instead of attempting to take advantage of the crowd there to show off.
