My mother is an experienced lawyer even though she did LLb much later in her life and then in her footsteps my dad did law too and left his bank job, right now we have a corporate law firm, and i am preparing for JEE right now as a dropper, i never gave it a thought that i could consider law as a path too, but today ive been comtemplating over it

No you can give clat only after doing your 12th. You will be eligible for giving clat only if you get more than 50% if you are in general category and if you are SC,ST then you should get minimum of 45% for giving clat.
No, after 12th you can go for CLAT or after graduation in Law . Yes, it is right that age restriction has been removed by the Supreme Court. But persuing CLAT too much late is not good, above two conditions are reasonable for the exam.
