Unfortunately, for Mr. Volobuev, Trump's "genius" friend, Comrade KGB Col. Putin could order --- through mind to mind, through the blink of an eye, or through secret memo --- the death of any Russian or others who've been with the Russians who are not against them. Inside or outside of Russia, it doesn't matter. His former organization, KGB, and the current re-incarnation, the FSB and other more secretive units... they have the resources to kill any one Comrade Putin personally is not happy with.
And the deaths don't always come quick. Sometimes they allow people to go for years, so as they could make stupid rebuttals to claims they kill people. But if Comrade Putin wants your head, he will have it, until or unless he's dead himself. Killing opponents, both selected and in generality, is something deep ingrained in the ruling elites since they murdered the Tsar and his entire family.
From Lenin, to Stalin, on down to Putin, Russian leaders are open killers, even if they do put on $10,000 suits when they smile & drank expensive wines & champagne with other world leaders....
For Putin, of course, days of wining and dining in $10,000 suits with other White European leaders are now completely in the rear mirror, since 98% of important European leaders (except for a few Putin personal pals like the leaders of Belarus, Hungary, Serbia, etc) have cast him out of their broader European Community of White, Western Europeans...

      Zelensky is Putin's agent!
Do you doubt it? Read this.
      1. Zelensky: he lured tens of billions of dollars worth of weapons from the West, for which he will never pay, because there will be no such state.
      2. Zelensky: left the largest arsenal in Europe, Balaclay, to the Russians.
      3. Zelensky: he freed the Russian market from foreign competitors, to which they were very grateful. Economists note an unusual phenomenon - the more sanctions, the more successful the Russian economy.
      4. Zelensky: provoked the global economic crisis. Millions of ordinary people in all countries of the world will be impoverished every year until mass protests and revolutions take place.
      5. Zelensky: forced the West to buy gas, oil, coal from Russians for rubles... the Russians didn't even dare to dream about it.
      6. Zelensky: gave the Russians Donbass, Kherson, Kharkiv…
      7. Zelensky: forced the rotten opposition to emigrate from Russia..
      8. Zelensky: he helped rally the Russian people around his Leader - he has never had such powerful support. The Russian people hate Nazis and fascists on a genetic level.
Question: Could this tragedy have been avoided?
Answer: Yes. In 2014, Putin, in order to avoid a civil war in Ukraine, proposed the Minsk Agreements. The guarantors were the Presidents of France, Germany and Russia. Ukraine agreed, but then refused to comply with them. More than 14,000 people died in the Donbas during the 8 years of the war.
Question: Why didn't you know anything about it?
Answer: From the very beginning of the conflict, the world media sided with Ukraine, hiding the truth about the genocide in the Donbas, even the Ukrainians themselves did not know about it.
Question: Why are irrefutable proofs hiding from the world that Ukraine shot down flight MH17, staged provocations in Bucha, Kramatorsk?
Question: Why is it forbidden to show the act of the death of Ukrainians on Russian television?
Question: Why do Russians provide medical care to Ukrainian prisoners of war?
P.S. In the information war, the one who tells the truth always loses. He is limited by the truth, and a liar can carry anything. Robert Sheckley

    - 4:44 He's right, there is NO way for Putin to stay, it's over, he's long passed the Rubicon, he's sealed his own fate like a German back in 1945. When this is over, there's NO way he'll still be president, at best in prison, at worst, out of this world. 🤷

Germany lost the war in 1941 when the loony in charge decided to invade Russia. That destroyed the German armed forces and the rest of the Allies just mopped up the pieces that were left. My point is that this took 4 years. Putin is going to be ousted but 'when' is the problem.

As Americans we need to wrap our heads around the fact that we need to make some major sacrifices. We need to appreciate that our sacrifices, so far, will be economic. This fight is against putin's attempt at intrusive and violent oppression of a free and independent country and its people. As a free and independent country we need to help stop this. If he is at all successful he will continue. Putin has suffered no repercussions. He is still rich and powerful. He needs to be stopped and it may take time and sacrifice.

The Russian military leaders also don't want Putin to know how much of the military's budget that they have siphoned off into their own pockets. IMHO
    - The Soviet Union was an oligarchy. Position was earned by doing favors. Thus grows a culture of corruption where the most evil rise to the top.
    - In the Soviet system, the means of production and about everything else belonged to the state. How well you did was based on your compliance. When the Soviet union broke up, according to a Russian who posted, the factories became the property of whomever had been appointed to run the factory. These are the oligarchs, and those working for them roughly their servants.
    - Democratic nations invested in a backwards Russia and developed their farming, resources, and manufacturing, based on the belief that Russia was different since the collapse of the Soviet Union, and they could do business with them because they were a democracy or working toward it.
    - Initially, people appointed whomever they wanted to, to represent them. Putin changed that to whomever ran, needed to be approved, which of course would be those basically in favor of Putin's policies. This benefits the oligarchs but empowers Putin to operate unchecked. Putin has made public his vision to restore the Soviet Union and dominate the world since at least 2007. Putin was in the KGB before where murder, assassinations, and where all forms of brutality are a acceptable and useful. Putin has surrounded himself with those of like mind. Being a "CAN DO" "YES" man has benefits, and it is a mutually beneficial relationship. If you are not a "YES" man, you are simply fired, and lose a high-paying job that is given to someone else. This creates a leadership environment that creates a culture that believe their own propaganda.
    - As with Hitler, Putin tests the waters by invading part of a small nation. His circle says good idea. Things go well and democracies continue to do business as usual. However, this causes other nations to join NATO. Ukraine wanted to but then ended up with a president to stopped pursuing it. Oil and gas were discovered in Ukraine in 2010. Then Russia does a surprise invasion of Ukraine in the Crimean region in 2014 and wants eastern Ukraine where the gas and oil are so that Ukraine does not become a competitor for the European market and threatens Germany to buy from Ukraine. Russia starts a proxy war in eastern Ukraine in 2014 in the Donbas to justify invading and taking the oil fields. The world democracies do nothing but a bunch of sabre rattling and some sanctions against Russia. Things have gone fast and easy, as it did for Hitler. The Ukraine decided they want to set up favorable trade relations with the EU rather than the EEU. Ukraine's president, who was pro-Russia, decided to join the EEU after which the people removed him, with the help of his own party, from office and elected the current president who made moves to establish trade relations with the EU. Then they elected a new president who would establish trade relations with the EU and pursue NATO. However, that is a problem with NATO because they don't meet the criteria yet so France and Germany block them. Putin wanted to maintain dominance over Ukraine. This provides the basis for the war. As was the case with Crimea, the thought was to do the same with the Ukraine.
    - Putin entertains taking over Ukraine and installing a puppet government like he has been so successful doing up to this point. His echo chamber he hired tells him what he wants to hear. He lies to the soldiers where they find themselves in Ukraine being commanded by murders and rapists. Putin takes over the media to put out the prefabricated the "Special Operation" narrative and beats the WW II patriotic drum.
    - The expected 72 hour "Special Operation" is routed. The reaction of democracies around the world is not like it was before and they hit Russia with crippling sanction and begin sending weapons to Ukraine. Businesses from democratic nations have pulled out leaving Decimating the economy does not work to the benefit of the oligarchs or their workers. Oligarchs' assets have been seized. Some oligarchs put a bounty on the head of Putin. However, Putin still controls the internal police who perform the same services as Germany's S.S. Several have been murdered. He jails any protesters or those that call it a war. The war drags on with large losses they hide from the people. The story in the media continually changes in ways that are ambiguous to what was said previously. Soldiers captured or defected call home to tell them the real story how the only Facists are Russia and the murder and rape of civilians. Some back home believe their sons and and some don't. Many Russian pilots and soldiers go on TV worldwide, unafraid to use their real name and everything about how they invaded a peace-loving country, the atrocities, and how they don't belong there. Some talk of fighting against Putin inside Russia. Then there is he loss of the Moskva, which they said was due to a fire they said, but they rescued all of the sailors with no loss of life, and while it was being towed, it sank in rough seas. So the critics state, So this is a "Special Operation", that is supposed to be over in a few days. So what is the navy ship Moskva doing off the coast of Odessa in the first place, where it just happened to catch on fire while it was there, which with all of their equipment they couldn't put out, yet everyone got out, and it sank in rough seas that were near calm as the pictures show, and just because of the fire? Hundreds of thousands of Russians have fled their own country. They say they see no future for Russia. Russia has an economy smaller than some U.S. states. Their demographics is the oldest, and the best educated are also the oldest of the population. Russia's population is half what it was in WW II while other countries have tripled. They have seen the West pull out of their stores in malls and Russia taking their property. Russia depends on the West for their technology and production has stopped in many sectors because of it, and their skills and businesses depend on the West for customers, who now wouldn't us them if they worked for free, and don't see that changing for the next 100 years. China cannot help because Russia is too small of a market to jeopardize their U.S. and European markets. They see the Iron Curtain returning. Putin blocked his oldest daughter from leaving. The country is now being sealed off from the Internet.
    - So this is where things are and how they got there, and illustrates what needs to be unwound.
    1. Putin is a hostage of his own propaganda. The only card he can play is everything is going according to plan. He cannot take the blame, so he must arrest several to become his scapegoats to maintain his image with the people, but this also weakens his position with them. Putin and his evangelists, like Hitler and his, have a common problem. They either win and become heroes, leave with a friendly successor if that successor can be sold to the people, or lose to a political opponent and be villainized, despised, and be executed for war crimes. So Putin is not relevant.
    2. 60% of Russian government revenue comes from energy sales to Europe. IF Europe would simply cut Russia off and take their lumps while going on a war footing to replace Russia as an energy provider, in a few months, the Putin wouldn't be able to wage war, the economic effects would hit the republics, and the Russians would replace him. Moreover, there are many soldiers returning with a story that is quite different from what they heard back home and these guys have an axe to grind. If handled properly, after the disposing of Putin, many Russians from all around the country should be brought on tour throughout Ukraine to witness what their soldiers under Putin did and listen to the first-hand accounts of the people, similar to what Eisenhower did with with Germans in their concentration camps and were personally complicit with.

    When will Putin be stopped?
Most likely when his internal security ppl stop getting their bribes and high pay. And/or when the people that fear being killed or imprisoned by him feel safer getting rid of him than waiting for the shoe to drop on them. You shouldn't expect loyalty from what are essentially mercenaries, esp if you can't pay them anymore. Pretty simple cost-benefit analysis, even if the stakes are that high.

@@zeyadsaeed9580 It's obviously impossible to say how this would have played out with Trump as president. Some things are pretty clear, though. First, Trump is only really interested in two things: money and his ego. His understanding of foreign affairs was never very good. So I'm sure he really wouldn't have given a damn about what the Ukrainian government and Ukrainian people wanted; he would have just wanted it all over and done with as quick as possible so business could get back to normal. He's strikingly lacking in empathy, so if the Russians looted, raped and murdered civilians in the process, he wouldn't have much cared. If there really was a Russian hit list with everyone of any significance in Ukrainian society on it, he wouldn't have cared, since he wasn't on the list. So he would have been pressuring the world to accept that Ukraine didn't have a chance against Russia, and they should just surrender. He always had great disdain for NATO as an organisation, it's questionable if he ever truly understood how it operated, and the leaders of NATO countries were well aware of both of these facts. So even if he had wanted to rally NATO to help Ukraine defend itself (which is unlikely), it's probable that he wouldn't have been nearly as effective in this as Biden has been. It's also highly unlikely that a Trump administration, with its America first, last and always stance, would have even considered a new Lend-Lease Act.

Even if Russia is driven out of Ukraine, it is now obvious that the civilized world must do something different in the long term. The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Human nature is not going to change, so we need to change the conditions that creates and empowers violent and dysfunctional governments. (Including some Western democracies that support rogue states for minerals)
Instead of complicated and inconsistent sanctions, it would be simpler for free countries to just to put massive taxes on all imports, and only give waivers to other free countries, and incremental discounts to non-free countries for democratic and human rights improvements. Cost of living increases can be offset by domestic tax reductions and stimulus payments from windfall tariff revenue. And most importantly; People love discounts, but hate mandates. We must work with nationalistic pride, not against it.
Also, we need to be consistent. Free trade with China, but no trade with North Korea is insane and does not provide a clear message.
Write your representative today and demand consistent, incentive based economic pressure. Just sitting around complaining and waiting until the next destructive crisis is no longer an option.
And the icing on this cake - incentives would create an economic boom for every country that uses it. = = = = = =

Yes, we need to cancel our trade with China and move our factories out of there. Russia, China, North Korea, they're all the same. We need to train them. Moving world production to China was a grave strategical mistake, we need to change that, show them why they are where they are.
