सीने का दर्द Acidity या Heart Attack ?

‪@draseemraturi‬ Gastrointestinal diseases are the most common cause of acute chest pain. Common GI disease causing chest pain is esophageal reflux, esophageal spasm, peptic ulcer disease, gallbladder disease. But the 2nd most common disease causing acute chest pain is ischemic heart disease ( heart attack ) and this requires urgent attention because it's lethal. In winter season chances of heart attack increase by 33% due to constriction of blood vessels which increase BP and increase oxygen demand.Typical cardiac chest pain is retrosternal with severe intensity and feeling of pressure,tightness or squeezing. But other symptoms such as dyspnea, sweating, upper abdomen pain, arm pain, jaw pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, nausea, vomiting and severe acidity can be due to heart attack. So pain in the upper abdomen is not always due to acidity it can be due to heart attack.#chestpain #acidity #gas #heartattack
