- Strutting its stuff from London’s Adelphi Theatre is the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award® winning musical Kinky Boots. Inspired by true events with songs from Grammy and Tony award winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, book by legendary Broadway playwright Harvey Fierstein and direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell.
Charlie (played by Olivier Award nominee Killian Donnelly) is a factory owner struggling to save his family business, and Lola (played by Matt Henry, who won an Olivier Award for the role) is a fabulous entertainer with a wildly exciting idea. With a little compassion and a lot of understanding, this unexpected pair learn to embrace their differences and create a line of sturdy stilettos unlike any the world has ever seen! But in the end, their most sensational achievement is their friendship.

한국버전 raise you up은 뭔가 너무 교육방송 느낌 난다고 생각했는데 오리지널은 쇼느낌을 잘 가져가네요.
서양 버전이 진짜 신나는 피날레 느낌을 잘 살림 한국 공연도 좋지만 진짜 맛깔나는건 서양 공연.....
Just be 가사를 음미해보시면 훨씬더 감동이죠. 진짜 가사 잘씀. 특히 accept yourself and you will accept others too 는 우리 사회에 정말 필요한 내용인듯

Kinky boots 👢 was one of the first musicals I saw and I absolutely loved it, still love it to this day ❤️

No, this is the UK cast from a couple of years ago, although I guess a couple of them might have done something recently in California, I don't know.
@@DontDwellinDreams All i knew is that it was a touring group. Alas my program has long been lost. Sat on the orchestra section so i had a clear view of the actors' faces. That's why they looked familiar.
