One year, one D&December, Jared will beat this game. It will become a yearly or bi-yearly tradition, calling it now. And it will persist until the end of this channel, because let's face it, he's never reaching the bottom floor.
@@ericjohnson6455 Cleric/Mage IS OP. They have healing, which means they don't run out of food. They have Improved Identify, so they always know what the stuff they pick up is. Once the cleric side hits level 5 they have Create Food & Water, so now they're REALLY not running out of food. They have ALL the buffs. Oh, and they have Spiritual Hammer, which creates a magic throwing weapon that returns when thrown. If the hammer leaves the monster's space, it may hit them AGAIN on the way back. Spiritual Hammer too slow? Well, you've still got Lightning Bolts and Fireballs... and the hammers will still be there once those run out.
Yup, totally did. That's why you can see that he's in a completely different map tile, he's got a bunch of new items, and he's completely out of food. ua-cam.com/video/S21uUux2k2s/v-deo.html No, @@masterclif there's missing footage. In fact, Episode 6 has been unlisted now, probably to fix it.
This has been a very fun series to watch. I know I'm late to the viewing, ut, it's too bad it's over, here. Thank goodness I found it between more recent D & D videos on this channel, while waiting for new episodes of them.
I kind of hope Dungeon Hack becomes a yearly thing for D&December, it's a fun and chill game with the right mix of intense moments and relaxation. I enjoy just having this on in the background while I work and just chill with Jared.
I'd love to see more attempts, Jared, however might I suggest giving yourself a bigger advantage so you can get further into the game? Thus far we haven't really seen a whole lot of enemy variety, and I'd love to see what the end of the game looks like and/or dragons, trolls, or other D&D staples. Perhaps you could do a stream? It's up to you of course, and I'm sure whatever you have in store for us for DnDecember will be great. I'm looking forward to it and you're really getting me in the mood to play an RPG (just haven't decided which one...).
More Dungeon Hack please, don't let this be the last! Or maybe you can do another one of these kinds of RPGs, Eye of the Beholder, Dungeon Master 2, Stonekeep would be amazing, Lands of Lore, something like that.
I really enjoy this series and I was so happy for it to be back! I'd very much like more episodes with different classes, yes sir! Also Magic. Always Magic. We love Magic around here.
This reminds me of Lands of Lore so much, thank you for introducing me to it. I think you'd enjoy it Jared. It's not technically D&D, but rather what Westwood wanted to do after Eye of the Beholder.
I would honestly enjoy watching you playing this on occasion every now and then. Perhaps next D&December you could do another attempt or something like that.
MOAR DUNGEON HACK! Really Jared you look happiest when you are plai D&D games. Either actual ones on DCA or digital ones like this. It's too bad that this game is only single player, because you going through it with your typical D&D cast would be awesome.
Woo more Dungeon Hack! I just finished watching the series from a couple years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe do like a thief/caster or something so you don't get totally boned?
Just imagining that face coming at me down a hallway at that speed, "swish", taking out my friend, unblinking as she stares into my soul as if to say, next, me.
And Niloc still remains Jared's most successful run. I propose nex time he play a Cleric/ Thief or a Thief/ Mage. That way he can still be a thief, but have spells to help him along.
Oh boy I understand the pain Jared felt at the end there... It was going so well. Also I'd like to see more if you'd be up to it, haven't seen you play a warrior of any sort yet, so that'd be neat.
WOW! So this journey ends to....well at least we can look back fondly at the friends we made along the way the trials we faced those we've loved and those we've lost but now we can finally rest knowing that our tiring adventure is over.
I want to see you play more! At least quit after floor 10 or 12. Give yourself a boost on drops or play a chaotic evil fighter. Dont give up Jerd! Play Peebs or Ian next!
As someone who has played this game for a very, very long time (I owned a PC copy back in the day) I have never, ever reached the end. The closest I got, I was Dragon-blocked. Yes. You read that right. I got very deep in the dungeon and a white dragon wrecked me. At least, I think it was a dragon. I was very young and very scared. It's very possible that you can play this game a thousand times and never win. No matter how you work your character, you may never, ever succeed. Even if you grind. It's the ultimate tease of a game :)
My older sister played Nethack for a long time, her strongest character lucked into a Wand of Wishing. She wished for a Scroll of Taming and a Ring of Slow Digestion. She somehow tamed a Djinni of all things, and was easily crushing multiple shopkeepers. She ran out of inventory, so she ate her excess food. Except, she had a Ring of Slow Digestion, so she was eating food she didn’t need to eat. She ate too much unnecessary food, and choked on a food ration. And died. Yep. Super strong character was outright killed by stuffing themselves so full they choked to death on a food ration. I never looked at Slow Digestion the same way again (>_>)
I can't speak for everyone but I'd love to see you successfully beat the dungeon, even if maybe you just play it for your own enjoyment until you feel like you have a successful run and record the last few floors, it would make for an awesome FINALE FINALE to see a super-buff Diath kick ass on the final floor hahaha.
Projared, my dude! Just so you know, this is the first notification I get for this series. I've gotten the mario rpg, the skittles game, the D&D games, but not this one. I will go watch the previous ones. Thanks for your videos and commitment. Cheers from Mexico.
@ProJaredPlays! I'm loving your playthroughs of old-school Fantasy RPGs. Have you ever played any of the Ultima games, specifically Ultima Underworld? I think you would love Ultima Underworld, has a vibe similar to Dungeon Hack and old-school D&D!
I would love to see more episodes of this. Also Jared, if you like games like this, you should try out Barony on Steam. It's got a lot of depth and shares many similarities to this game.
I kind of want to see more attempts honestly because I would be no good at a game like this so watching an experienced player is more fun. Also I just generally enjoy watching your run though of this game.
It's funny to see so many people upset to see it end or annoyed that an episode number was skipped when Jared himself ends the video saying he'd be up to do more if we only ask.
As much as I'd love more Dungeon Hack, I think I'd enjoy other D&D games even more! I recently started playing the Dark Sun games and those are really fun so far so I'd love to see what else these games have to offer.
That naming of his second character. It's like he realized he accidentally named her a Pokemon, so then just started adding extra S's until something else pieced itself together at the end to make it not so.

He should do a run where he makes himself OP just to get to the bottom

Well, now I require a full fleshed out fanfic of Riolussina and the Temple of the Secret Labyrinth! Also, more attempts, I really like this series!
I actually like to watch you playing this game! Sad to see it end!
I'd really like to see another attempt! Specifically as a Bard because what even can you do with that
This is one of my favorite games to watch you play! I'd love to see more

I am pretty sure one of the rings was a "Ring of being bad at throwing stuff +2".
Ring of suck.
I could watch Jared play this every day. Awesome old school game.
I think Miss Editor has been hitting the sauce. Only half of Episode 6 and skipped Episode 7. No worries, I'm sure it'll be sorted soon.
Black potion strikes again
Big fan of Dungeon Hack. I would love you to keep the series going all the way through December, and show off a bunch of different character builds.

I love the Dungeon Hack videos. This game is just so intriguing to watch.
