In this episode it was my sisters birthday and the fam was chillin at the lagoon.. But not us boys.. We wanted some of that pole bending action! So we headed out to meet up with the braddahz Dootz and Javarooski.. We met up and fished all day. Was good fun and good vibes... Not to much action over here but then again im still kinda new2dis so maybe there's a technique to fishing this spot. Regardless tho, Still had a lot of fun.. It was cool to come out Waikiki side an play tourist little bit lol.. Nice little switch up.. I enjoyed it.. We might have to do this more often.. Travel around the island and Holoholo lol.. Killa scenery too.. but ya hope you guys like the episode.. Im thinking of posting more of these shorter videos.. But anyways Love You Fakaz Shoots 🤙🏼
Back in the early 80's, when Uncle was a young boy, used to live in town and walk to that breakwater to fish. Growing up didn't have much, but fishing was fun, free and kept me out of trouble. The inside harbor side didn't have that long pier, so could whip on the harbor side for white papio and barracuda. Usually not much luck on the outside though, unless the oama was running the the bigger Omilu would be around. As we grew up, started surfing the town breaks in the summer , paddling out from that rock wall where there was a "cracked" rock you would launch from. Now such a long time ago now, but everything sort of looks the same. Thank you for sharing your day, brought back some memories. Stay safe and keep up the great and varied content!

The Weke’Ula is the one you can eat but not the head…..get some kind of chemical that it produces that gives you nightmares. I heard about that since I was little too. I used to fish there too…..if you go on the docks get Papio between the boats. Water is deeper too and some of the ledges sit under the docks so get all kine fish. 🤙🏾 Aloha Brada Royce!!!!

I remember one time in the mid 70’s I hooked up to a good sized kaku with a gold Kastmaster. It came off but I still remember my fishing tale. 🤙🏼🤙🏼 also remember seeing a naked wahine sunbathing at the very end of the wall on the sand spit.

You were at Ala Moana Bowls. If you're willing to make that trek with bigger poles, there's Uluas that frequent the reef during higher tides. Sharks too though. Lots of times I brought up half a fish because of those tax collectors. Love your vids!

@@ShawnB.. ya tryna dive experienced guys my two braddahs I go with one work during the week I try dive atleast 3 times a week my Ada braddah lost his nephew to the ocean he get hard time get back in the water the boi was young he taught that boi everything he know but that kept him out of the water since. So it's been hard to get him back in so I go solo seeing if I can get some westside divers for go with ya figure I try no matter though it is what it is
