    If AEP Power had made the next film in Columbus 2020, look at how much Columbus and surrounding communities throughout Central Ohio has changed from 1980 thru 2020: the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets play their games at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus' Arena District; they've been in existance since fall 2000 and the MLS' Columbus Crew SC play their home matches at Mapfre Stadium just off I-71; they've been in existance since 1996.

      Columbus is a very different place in 2020 than in 1980. Even compared to 2000 or 2010 Columbus has come a long way. I still think it's a hard sell to get people to relocate from NYC to anywhere in the midwest.

    Hilarious that they kept framing shots to make sure that the Columbia Gas building wasn't in shot. :-)
    Columbus is a great city to live in. If you don't like it, feel free to leave... but you won't find better. Seems like most of the people who hate Columbus are just expressing their self hatred and they won't be happy anywhere they go until they get right with themselves...
    (And yes, we have a lot of people from a lot of different places, from a lot of different cultures. It is really nice, and it makes our community better. It is something you'll like, if you're not a racist asshole. If you are a racist asshole, go someplace else- you won't like it here, and we won't like you here.)

    • @allent9433
      @allent9433 3 роки тому +2

      You could have said something like "Columbus needs a more robust public transit system" or "the local governments of Columbus, particularly the police departments, have systematic issues with violence and racism which should be addressed". Perhaps even "Columbus needs to work on developing more high end jobs to keep more of the graduates from it's many institutions of higher learning". Or "Columbus needs more art venues".
      You know what these are? Constructive comments that lead to more discussion; and ideas about how to make Columbus better.
      Instead, you attacked me. That just leads to me calling you names and hating you.
      Why should I be tolerant of people who are like the racists and haters who I called out, and people who attack me? Why should I care at all about what you say? Hint: you haven't give me a reason to; and I don't.

      @@projectjake1017 Weird. You clicked on a four month old comment on a years old video to tell me how much you don't care.
      Which, of course, means you are a goddamned fucking liar. If you really didn't care, you wouldn't have said anything.
      Leads me to believe you hate Columbus, probably because you hate yourself. I would highly recommend that you consider going and finding someplace you like, and spending your time and energy worrying about that. People who are good about themselves and are in a good place with themselves emotionally cultivate the good in their life.
