I love how different they all look, and I love how you post videos when you struggle to get the effects you want. It's more realistic for beginners like myself. Keep making these fabulous videos 😍
I felt so bad for you with all your struggles. But I love that you always keep it so real. I don't know why you said they're not a success? They look so flipping cool to me ✌️🥰 I was feeling so bad for you trying to get that first one out. But then you said oh it's a bit like giving birth isn't it. I just started roaring with laughter. You're always so entertaining and I can't thank you enough for sharing all your wonderful videos with us. Thank you
I love how always come with a new idea, how talented you are. I love your work
That mould really gives you a workout😂 I struggle with that mould too!
Looks like whimsical crowns💖💖💖💖
Love these pieces. I also have this mold and had a terrible time even with soapy water to get it out. Scratched my thumb all up but boy when it popped I heard angels sing! I did purple amethyst crystals with Xmas holographic snow in resin for the base. This was a gift for my son's mother-in-law who was visiting from Brazil. I bought a tea light with extra batteries for it and obtained a real amethyst crystal to go with it. She couldn't speak English but gave me one of those European double cheek kisses. This is a beautiful mold and worth the wrestle with it. Thanks for the demo!
I got a cramp in my hand just watching struggle getting them out! But you never give up, and they turned out beautiful. Thank you for your wonderful videos, they are so helpful.
This video is absolute chaos. I love it. 🤣💕👍
They turned out beautiful. In fact I like them a little better than the one you did before.
Yet again another awesome creation!
I love these Julie. they are so beautiful and really cool looking. 😍
Love love love your sharing, thank you. Excited to watch this one.
Oh hey! Unusual time for you to upload. Nice surprise! ❤️
I know, I forgot :)
They are so neat and cool looking...good job💕 😍☺💕
Looks amazing Julie, a tip with any crystal type mould that I have been using for ages is, pour some resin in and squeeze and squish the mould, it gets rid of any bubbles and makes sure you have resin in all parts then top up to where u want it, usually a big air bubble gets caught in the end, you don’t notice, fill it to where you want it and the bubble breaks and it drops the level dramatically like what’s happened here 👍
Hoot Hoot got my Large bubble mold and bubble coaster mold ordered. 💞🤗
These look amazing , wow what a work out on demolding. I think one with shades of blues and teals would be gorgeous. Solid blue bottom. Maybe a spray of mold release will help them slide out better. Very lovey Julie🤗🥰💞💝
They turned out great and beautiful
Those are so beautiful and cute. I love the fact that you keep trying till you finally get what you want. The colors are gorgeous. Great job Julie. 💕🤗
Now I love those they are beautiful
This is a very beautiful work of art
Sometimes the biggest mistakes you think you may be making turns out to be your best creations. Sometimes just following a formula doesn’t work out as well as winging it. I’m so glad you stuck with it. Amazing😊
Sometimes art is loved for the imperfections. It gives it character. I love things that r different. So they don’t look mass produced. I didn’t notice any color leakage on the black for your last 2. Great job!!!!😊
I really like the second one. I find you to be so delightful, thank you for sharing your journeys with us.
I love those.. cant wait to see more
Very nice Julie.
I especially LOVE the last one you did.... it looks like a little fantasy village. It's awesome!!
The deep molds are such a pain to demold! I always loosen the sides and then stick popsicle sticks down in the sides and then the molds usually come right off. These came out so cool!
OMG so pretty!!!!!
They look amazing 🤩🤩
It's good to see I'm not the only one to experience the 'not full enough' molds', clear fluid, white molds, and no way to follow where the resin is, especially if you want it transparent! Love your work as usual and I know I always go to your videos to get an answer when I'm stuck with something. Never fails. Jo from Canberra.
Awww..I love them..so fascinating to look at...the struggle is real! There's no way I'd get them out with my osteoarthritis...I thought a tealight would be nice in them. ❤
Don't be so hard on yourself your work is beautiful. There is no way I could get it out of the mold but they are so cute. ❤️
These are just so much fun! Would love to see them with metallic colors or even glow in the dark :-) Just awesome!
Great experiment! My favorite is the 3rd one. But they are all so pretty.
First thing I thought of was to place a white pillar candle in the center.
Super cool!
Love these, you were worried for no reason, they are gorgeous.
I actually like #2 the best!
Those are so pretty
Beautiful
Love all 3 Julie am a sucker for anything with crystals great job you very hard on yourself when they turned out fabulous
Love all 3 Julie. Looking forward to seeing your next video making these.
Beautiful.
Well, they certainly tested you Julie. 😉 I really like them, especially because each one is so different from the other. I loved this video, so thanks for sharing. 👏🏻🌺🌴
I believe the colours moved and became brighter because you had set that one on fire unlike the right one which is why it stayed darker at that point
Difficult pouring but amazing results..Love all three.. Could you use pale blue or yellow in the bottom next? Still All very beautiful...
This video was such fun to watch! You did a brilliant job as always. I think these might be my favourite. Please do these again!💜💜💜
A really good high viscosity resin if you can source it is resinpro delux it's really thick most times I have to heat up part A first or its like toffee but it's brilliant for impatient Petri dish style art you can mix pour drip and drip and stir 15/20 mins later 😉👌❤️👌
Oh, Julie, this was a difficult one to watch. LOL I kept telling you to breathe. 😉 It's crazy how difficult this technique is. They remind me of rock candy. Love the bright colors. xoxo
These are so pretty..I love the colours and the effects you got in the resin..These would look so beautiful with one of those battery operated night lights. You can get them that flicker too I believe now. They would look so lovely lit I love these🥰
These are also great to burn tealight candles... I have the same mold and use resin and can confirm they are safe as tealight candles.
those are neat. I like the effect of the mushrooms. I don't have any sort of crystal molds yet. when I do I might try this.
Very cool!
I have this mould one of my first when starting resin I almost gave resin up because of it I had to get a family member to come and try to get them out the mould nice when they are finished but very hard to get them out so good on you for showing how difficult it can be 😊♥️♥️
I think that they all look gorgeous even the ones that you thought went wrong,, as you see something different in each of the points,, or crystals effect,, while watching you ,, I thought what would they look like with a glow in the dark effect,, if you use glow in the dark powder for each glow in the dark color, and mix it really well, and to use a clear base,,so that you see all the glow colors,, when put on an LED BASS, it would look as stunning as the rainbow ones and would be a great night light small lamp, what do you think? I've used glow in the dark powders and got some great results. Have a great week.
I love them too. would like to see them with clear bottom
I love them!
I love them and yeah I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my hands are wrecked. I have enormous trouble with molds like these. There will come a day where I’ll have to give it up and when that happens I have a massive amount of molds and colours I will sell lol
Wow love them x
They look pretty, the mold has a lot of potential ❤
Pretty
Wow they're beautiful! 😍
The first one is lovely.... second seems to have a lot of little bubbles in it and I really like the third one
Looks amazing Julie! Very unique and I love the colours❤ Iam looking forward too see much more of those!
I love them all but the first one I'm in love with because it reminds me of something from the past. Could I buy it please?
Could you use these for tealight candle holders? I haven't made it through the entire video yet so I'm not sure if it has been brought up or not. Currently at the 24 minute mark and all I can think about is a dark room, with 1 tea light lit inside of these vessels. Thanks for the video. They came out very pretty.
Julie, these are lovely. You had similar problems with the little hearts with the tendrils a few years ago, but they both turned out beautifully. Love the colours and the effects.
Those are so cool looking! I love them! To help demold difficult molds I put alcohol in one of those needle nose bottles. You can get the alcohol into the bottom of the mold and the piece comes out a lot easier.
They look really cool and pretty!! ❤
Very unusual piece, do you sell the moulds?
I remember when you did these before and there was a fault in the mold and they ended up ripping. I had the exact same thing happen.
I hope either you have made the mold or they fixed the design.
They turned out beautifully! #3 is my favorite! Amazed at how easily you got them out. I sure hope these are molds you made!! I’ll take 2😊
Hi Julie! Everything you do inspires me to have courage with my art.. Love your heart. Where can I find those molds? I cannot find them under your molds on eBay. I am in USA.
They look like the old lava lamps the ones that have dropped
I have just got one of those moulds and was wondering what to do with it. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
When you said ‘it’s just like giving birth’, I nearly fell off my chair, laughing so hard 🤣. I understand you feeling, they are not successful, however I think they are stunning Julie. Each one of those individual crystals, look like little alien life forms. They capture one’s imagination. Stunningly gorgeous. I was wondering if you had ever tried using a Release Spray on your molds? Apparently it’s not only good with preventing a battle, ( trying to remove our resin from the mild), it also conditions our silicone molds, creating a longer life span and keeping the high gloss of the silicone. Please take care of your fingers, I was getting very concerned that you would slice them, with the hardened resin. Spoil your hands with a little TLC 😃. Take care and stay safe, love and we’ll wishes from a cold and wet Melbourne ♥️🙏💐💐💐
Fab! I have this mold and use some soap barely moistened to help release the suction. Will try your petri technique for some interesting effects. And will also use Heat Pro Resin so I can use scented candles.
Gosh! she is so lovely. 😊 ¿wanna a big hug? 😚
Fantástic,!!! Where can i get one of this mould??
Beautiful! I would like to purchase that mould but I didn't see it on your page?
I think you should be able to get both wired and Bluetooth wireless shutter buttons that work with Samsung phones
Julie, these were hard to get out. Have you ever used the mold release?
I literally just ordered these molds and was so happy to see you make them. They're beautiful!
These r cute
Where did you get your mold?
Where did u get those molds
Oh, Julie! These are seriously *cool!* I LOVE the extreme sporing on these, especially with the wee mushroom ends on them! ❤ 😊 I've always been frustrated with the spores ending up blobbing on the front of a piece, esp. a cabochon. (Ugh!) These molds are deep enough, we can really play with the inks and sinker white. Great job, keeping on even though things seemed to be discouraging for a bit. 👍 Would love to know the search term for this mold!
P.S. "Like giving birth", indeed! I was grunting and groaning with you! 😆
I have this mold. it's a nightmare to remove the resin!
Is the only way to get a description of the products you use is to pay $15.99 monthly fee?
Maybe try putting your white in a spray bottle
Is this one of your molds??
Where are you from
I miss a bit of glitter on the base, as colorful as the crystals are, a bit of glitter on the base would have been nice.
With such fussy small areas in a mold, you shouldn't go thicker resin. Warm your resin before mixing and use a Thin resin. Get it poured into the tiny crystals and Then let it sit your time. This way it will thicken up in there already. It won't go in thickened, it air locks plus the air can't get out.
No audio
Not sure what was happening but when I put the cc on I read what you were saying then went off your video and went to it again and restarted and audio was there. LOVE LOVE LOVE your work and videos as well as your fur babies.
