I didn't know it took NuWho 12/13 days to shoot an episode. Why are we told it takes 8 months for a series?

Pre and Post production? 13 days x 12 episodes is more than 5 months and another couple of months to finish the last few doesn't sound unreasonable

@@priscillateo1691 I want it too, but also the Classic Doctors. Unlike the 50th which seemed to deny that Classic Who existed and just threw in Tom Baker at the end, so that we could all be happy.
Besides, the Centenary had the perfect setup with The Guardians of the Edge.
