I have a bad habit of locking my wrist in the violin bow hand. Are there any bow excercises to get out of this bad habit? Also seems like my fingers grio the violin bow to tightly my pinky finger seems to be double jointed and my pinky finger would bend and not be straight unless it is firmly placed on the violin bow. Thanks, Dr. Fitzpatrick Paul
professor ,sorry my english is not very good at 6:16 you say. " if I doing any kind of ? stroke......" What kind of stroke ? Could you spell the word for me , thanks

@@treatb09 Try applying pressure, believe it or not, with the fourth finger, the pinky. It will lift the weight of the bow a little, and make it float kind of, between bowings.

I like it that Prof William Fitzpatrick got an extra name! 🎻🎻

You've totally confused me! you said largato uses fingers 2 and 3 . Then say spiccato uses legato pressure points but then say 1 and 3.
