Thank you E Sir, for gifting us with the interesting new components and excellent video comparisons!🎈🎁🎟🎰 It's an interesting and satisfying little feast after a bit of a fast. 😋 Thanks a lot also for doing a demo of the 80th's with the grills on! 👍😁👍😃👍🤩
I instantly felt that the Nova is a better match with the Denton 80ths than with the Arias, and the grills seem to temper the 80ths upper treble noticably. (Obviously shy of an A/B demo of them both ways, thus far😝). I still think the STRDG500 is the most musical and balanced sounding combo with the Dentons so far, but this isn't bad.
@@davidcarr2216 My point was, the Denton 80's are VERY far from being bright speakers.... I bought some Paradigm 200B, now those things gave me a headache within 10 minutes, I couldn't even EQ the brightness out, even put tissue over the tweeter. Sent back those and bought the 80's, all the difference in the world.
I've checked them out on his channel and I think they produce a fair amount of both bass and treble. I think the Evo 4.2s sound more refined as does Vincenzo.M. He seems obsessed with the Harbeth M30.1s at the moment.
This is all a bit strange. This combo sounds very smooth like with the AXA 35 but maybe a bit more dynamic. Weird baby. The C388 sounds similar also but a bit less smooth. Think I like these more with the Sony STRDH190.
Here's the first sound sample I've seen of the much touted PS Audio FR30 speaker. Considering the tech involved with drivers all designed in house, with 4 8" woofers with 12 lb. magnets and double spiders, 4 10" passive radiators, and planar ribbon midrange and tweeters in a box that weighs 230 lbs., the price of $28,499 is actually a lot lower than I expected, and seems quite reasonable. ua-cam.com/video/6a8duCpiQWY/v-deo.html

The Nova has a lot of power to drive and control the Dentons. Very punchy without losing the finer textures.
Please do 80th vs. 85th! I'm contemplating over these two speakers. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.
Good sounding system! Could you please add the HECO Aurora 300?

How about some vintage: ua-cam.com/video/u3DOmsHtd20/v-deo.html
This sounds pretty good. Is it the amp? The grills? We will need to hear with the grills and some of the previous amps we’ve heard to determine.
Sounds like a good match, and the grill on seems to tame some of the treble edginess.
Peter Comeau said these speakers along with the 85 and Linton were designed to be played with grills on.
@@thomasward00 I've always used my Denton 80s grills on but I doubt it would make alot of difference grills off.

Yamaha A S301 VS Denon PMA 600NE with the Klipsch R 51M? Would be awesomee :D, pleaseee.
With these speakers, the Peachtree sounds a little more enthusiastic and faster. Still, it's pretty boring sounding.
Has anyone checked out Vincenzo.M?
He has some vids with the 85’s. I don’t hear the sharp highs some are saying here. Any thoughts?
