BUT small misconception at 1:10, I tested it a while back with both Shrimpo and Astro, and despite the MASSIVE difference in stealth, they both got spotted at practically the exact same time from behind a Twisted who wasn’t looking at them. Seems like the only thing affected by Stealth is the front cone, not the large circle around them.
Ty for telling me! I did test try testing it out but looking back at my clips I think I was unlucky with the timing and the twisted turned slightly turned around (and I didn’t notice) when I was testing it on Brightney so that’s my mistake there!

Following the logic of “their detection circle gets bigger when you have lower stealth”, Shrimpo SHOULD HAVE been spotted WAY before Astro (-99.0 Stealth vs 25.0 Stealth) but that didn’t happen, they got spotted around the same time.

That's right! I remember playing as Boxten to complete his mastery and when i get close to Connie, she didn't attack me. Also i got +1 ornaments 'cause it's the christmas update lol.
How to avoid getting attacked by connie Step 1: wait for the light thingy to turn pink Step 2: hide and wait for her to leave Step 3: when she leaves, you can start extracting again
One more thing: It is possible to change your stealth mid round temporarily. For most toons, you can use an air horn to set your stealth to -60 for 10 seconds. This is lower than any toons stealth except shrimpo. If you’re playing as Peb you can use his active ability to set your stealth to -40, effectively being a reusable air horn.
Even as someone who knows how the stealth mechanic works this is a really nice video and explained in an easy to understand way! And as a plus it gave me an idea of how the detection works, I had a theory it was like what you mentioned but wasn't completely sure lol Overall a very nice video :D

I wont lie before i saw this, i thought that stealth was just aggro difference. I didnt know it actually helped with their sight distance on the player. I was pretty upset because well i mean stealth was misleading to me, since i thought it was only ever based in aggro attention. But this is great to know so ty
I'm pretty sure it does, when I was playing as Brightney in a solo run, I was like 1 meter away from the twisted from behind and they still saw me. However when I play as Astro or Connie they don't see me from behind very easily
@@Itz_Kathlyn Many people (including myself) tested it and no, the circle around doesn't get affected by stealth. Maybe what you had was bad timing and twisted was just about to turn around? I don't know what might have happened to you
Twisteds can actually go after you if they are chasing someone with lower stealth if you get FAR ENOUGH FROM THE PLAYER. I believe this distance gets larger the higher stealth you have. (Correct me if this doesn't happen, it happened to me while I was doing a machine and a distractor sprinted by me (goob) ( THEY DID NOT GO BEHIND ANY WALLS)

BONUS:D!!! there is a trinket call diary from completing twisted flutters research this trinket increases stealth by 25% which is very good for 3+ star stealth. how ever, low stealth like brightney or shrimpo will be 100% useless to them since one star stealth counts as 0. if you are a 2 star stealth then this trinket will only make your stealth higher than other 2 star stealth toons. so i suggest speed trinket over stealth for low stealth toon or any^^ hope this helps(no one is reading all of that)
If you look in the stats menu when playing shrimpo his stealth is actually in the negatives! Like -99 or -999 i think. Meaning brightney cant save a shrimpo being chased and even 1 pebble bark isn't enough either.
A better way to tell if a capsule is rodger is that normal capsules have little bandages (or restraints) on them, rodger capsules do not, it's similar to the resident evil "ethan must die" explosive pickup mechanic.
I feel like this video covers a good explanation of twisteds l.o.s for a starter to understand, but i feel like it would have been a good idea to mention how depending on a toons stealth a twisteds l.o.s timer will go down faster or slower accordingly
When I was new to the dandys world I wondered what stealth was, I even researched but never found anyone talking about it so I learned for myself about stealth and how it works.
Another thing to note is that twisteds with a ranged ability (Twisteds Goob, Scraps and Gigi) can see you from the same range regardless of your stealth

Nope, the first thing about stealth is wrong. From how far a twisted can see you depends on the twisted itself, stealth doesnt do anything to it. So stealth actually does nothing in solos-

When i was playing dandy's world [i was a pro poppy btw] sometimes whenever I join other runs [bc i died] sometimes RnD will appear at the floors and sometimes they will be a machine inside the circle, so when i was doing the last machine knowing if someone sprints RnD will get activated while I was doing my own busniss my stupid teammates decided to sprint in the circle and we needed to wait again and again because they kept doing it😭😭
FRRRR like i was playing as astro once and every single time without fail everyone kept saying "stay away from distractor!!" and "stop taking twisteds onto us!!" when i literally have such high stealth that if i'm being chased and they leave me THATS NOT MY FAULT- and i can literally walk around the distractors area without getting seen -_-

kinda curios, does stealth has any potency in solo runs? like would a Connie still be detected easily or? i have toodles in my inventory and when playing as her i noticed their detection range seems no different than playing a poppy or tish imo
Connie would definitely be harder to get seen by the twisteds vs another lower stealth character but imo there’s not TOO much of a difference but there’s still a difference. Since it’s solo you’ll most likely be trying to completely avoid twisteds so it doesn’t matter AS much as in multiple player lobbies but it still affects u a bit
I think you forgot about connie beacuse she is like rnd a bit if you interact with a machine she will hurt you so i think you missed out connie in the rnd rodger and glisten part or im wrong
You're not tripping. T. Ginger's attention span did change TWICE. Her first change went from 25 to 15 seconds, and her second change went from 15 to 10 seconds (Which is the current Ginger we have now).
