Sometimes I think he's on speed. Other than that - I understand him, that he's not excited about it anymore and he just fits it in, even though it can come off as treating the game like a joke which makes other players probably want to beat the crap out of him for treating something so important to them as barely a hobby and then winning. Very annoying, but for him it's his truth and that's that. Imagine he wins it and then he goes "No big thing, just went through the motions and now I'm going to cook" It's a disappointing reaction to something amazing, but that's the way it is for him. Personally, I'd love to see him win it for a 6th time because he has a marvelous season. I also want to see him get to 1000 centuries very much.
When he gets into something he gets into it. That could be the reason he passionate about helping people with food he knows how easy it is to be addictive to certain foods. Nice to see him with plenty going on, keeps him from being bogged down. " I don't what's going on mate" haha
Where's Dr Steve Peter's? Ronnie wants to win this title badly, he's putting on a carefree attitude to relieve the pressure because there always will be pressure and this is the way he deals with it. On another note, he is bored of the media room answering to reporters.
feeling healthy??? ....he should be, he's ONLY 42 years old is he not? stay that way Ronnie and carry on with that 1000th century hopefully by next years completion......THEN, perhaps do all the other things you enjoy other then snooker, however good luck with this world championship and going all the way if you can.....CHEERS!!!!
*wins world championship* "so ronnie this is the 6th time, tell us how you're feeling and how have you managed to do it again" "yeah well, carbs aren't that bad but gluten is a protein and a protein is a chain of amino acids but gluten cannot be broken down by the stomach severely interfering with digestion and causing malnutrition. i mean they're not that bad carbs are very anabolic and good for building muscle but i prefer my monosaturates and digestible proteins for general energy"
I love him, but what he says about not being arsed about winning is bollocks, he's at his happiest winning tournaments and is counting all his achieving.
Way to go Ronnie! You just got off a 12 minute ad for your upcoming book....oh my apologies, there was a minute or two devoted to that "Oh I don't care how I do in a tournament" dribble, but all credit mate, you got right back on the book as soon as you could. Hardly a mention of Maguire and the fact that he played quite well.....I'll bet you weren't feeling so breezy when it was 4 - 1!
Which girl is he talking about? Is he talking about Rhiannon Lambert ? Do you guys know if they are together now? I thought Ronnie is with Leila and Rhiannon is with another guy? Sorry guys I dont live in UK but love watching this fela.
Ronnie is eternally depressed finding escapes in running, commentating, boxing, cooking etc. Every season there is a new story. Not complaining if it something helps bring his snooker genius out, but not the best person to seek life advice from
yep i totally agree he always has a story to tell its the same old story but he tells it in so many different ways that he has me totally confused no doubt about it he is the greatest person to ever hold a snooker Que and as the great Ray Reardon said about him if he took of his shoes off he could play with his feet but every thing else in his life has to be a problem my advice to him is embrace all the good things while you are here , keep it simple , because Ronnie as one great man said TIME is a commodity no one can afford
Lol sure enough that you can depressed by eating the wrong food and indulge to much in the same thing. So making the right choices in many departments in live makes you happy. We get al so complex about being depressed: but basically you get depressed by doing stupid things like eating bad food.
You have it arse ways! Ronnie is full of life and he's always had the consistency of his Snooker career to balance out his various interests. He's 42 and living the perfect life of being a massive success, rich, great health and so many positive interests! That's a man who I'd take advice of any day over someone like you with a closed mind.
Ronnie try not slagging the lesser players who are trying their best, if your going to do good for people in the food game, i think your just trying to sell cook books to make more money.
Moe Kazan I think that's the way he deals with pressure and high expectations, take his mind off them. by changing up the subject altogether On the other hand in the Elglish Open he said he wanted to win, brought Steve Peters, played out of this world and won it, only to follow it with another 4 ranking titles . so yeah it doesn't mean I am right.
he comes out with some odd statements and with him i can't tell if he's kidding or not. Like when he says sportsmen shouldn't set high goals and how he doesn't feel any different whether he wins or loses...
Well, it sounds like he's had a locker room inspirational talk--I'm not sure that he regards a win the same as a loss. Sounds like he's talking down his expectations, so as to perform better. But I wonder if his remarks can be read as a critique of how the snooker tour is becoming all too serious, all too desperate.
When you are losing weight you are burning your fat, which is why you feel good as the fat turns into ketones for energy. Most likely he is starving himself on vegetables, which is not sustainable. Once you've burned all your fat, you will start burning your muscles and organs, which is when you will start running into trouble. Eating vegetables is not healthy at all and will lead to malnutrition and mental issues.
Classic Ronnie: playing in world championship, but being really excited about the cooking book
Lev Stolpner yep lol😂
Helping people is a great job Ronnei keep it up :)
His book will be a best seller😉
Ronnie is my hero. I'm lucky I got the chance to see him. Wonderful memories.
gotta love ronnies attitude towards life and sport
It's pointless asking him a normal question because you never get a normal answer
it seems he gives a normal answer, but he is just in totally different mood than other players, and been that for a while
Three questions for O'Sullivan:
1. What do you think generally?
2. Talk for a bit

Where's Dr Steve Peter's?

Can’t wait for his book
Gone from snooker questions to a session about life skills lol

I wonder if there will be a lot of "you know" in his book.
Takes the pressure of himself well now. For that reason I think he'll win the tournament.
Haha. First time I`ve seen this interview. 3:08 - 3:28 Fucking brilliant.
I love him, but what he says about not being arsed about winning is bollocks, he's at his happiest winning tournaments and is counting all his achieving.
