Unless elephants work differently from us, they were not "kept warm". They were made to feel warmer by the rush of blood to their skin which, in reality, cold you (or the elephant) down, making you feel nice and comfy while you die of hypothermia.
A vodka or any alcohol with a high methanol content isn’t always added on on purpose. Methanol is a naturally occurring by-product of distillation. Liquors with high methanol content are most likely due to late cut between the heads alcohol (which is dangerous to drink) and the hearts alcohol (which is what you’re ok to drink).

While yes losing fingers and such is not good i think going into a endless sleep is worse.
I was surprised that the freezing point of Vodka is only 16 degrees below zero. I live in the Rocky Mountains in the U.S. 16 degrees below zero is not rare. I can't remember a winter where it didn't get at least 25 below.

Alcohol DOES NOT warm you up. You just feel better when drunk in the cold. Actually, alcohol will cause your body to lose heat WAY faster in the cold, and kill you faster, because it dilates your peripheral blood vessels, causing more heat to escape through your extremities. However, alcohol will help discomfort in the cold if exposed to cold for short a duration. Otherwise consuming alcohol in cold weather is a very bad idea. Alcohol will actually stop and prevent frostbite from occurring if you consume it right before or after being rescued, but then have a warm place to recover in, again because the alcohol will increase blood flow to damaged tissue.
It was a neat video of odd things that happened to have vodka involved. However, the video title indicates that the video was going to cover the history of the vodka, which is not the focus of the video. It's probably better to change the video title.

They actually took that event and used it as moral proof that they were indeed superior to the large network around us. Yes, they literally moved their group of punks away because they knew vodka doesn't freeze and...because they knew that fact they could justify not hanging out with basically anyone on an entire floor. Where the hell is history of vodka !? And why there's nothing about Poland !?
