I don’t have an IS4 in hand but the chroma plastic of that looks like the same plastic they used in the new Razor Claws

It’s simple, the first three IS were fairly straight vegan flying discs. The IS4 is much beefier.

Another great, helpful review my man. Can't wait to get my hands on this disc. I've been needing a more stable MD3 type disc. My current 2 are beat in from using them so much this year. I love the MD series and FD series from Discmania.

Unless this was a request to run this specific plastic by Eagle it honestly makes no sense why they released another md3. Maybe they’ve been having issues with perfecting other new and unreleased discmania original molds.
Yeah I’m not sure! Maybe you’re right, maybe they aren’t super confident in the other molds quite yet… but it is a little confusing for sure!
I saw on an Instagram post reply to someone that their first priority is getting their players the tools they need. So Eagle must have requested a different iron samurai for some reason 🤷🏻♂️.

Yeah, it's probably the most beautiful course we have in KC! no matter the season it looks so good! especially the few from hole one at the beginning of the video! If you walk a little right of the teepad its an amazing view of the city!

It is Waterworks! And I live in the KC area. So I’m always around! Just haven’t filmed a ton at waterworks since it’s always a busier course and it’s further away! The course is amazing though

@@maxhill6760 no worries! That makes sense! And I think my favorite would probably be Bad Rock, but I don’t get out there too often! It’s like 45 minutes from me 😂
I also enjoy Waterworks a bunch, but it always wears me out!
But by me I really enjoy Heritage Park, and when Shawnee Mission is all long and you play with OB, that course is a blast!

I do not currently! In my video from last week when I play in the wind with no overstable discs I go through what I throw and that's basically my bag. But I am currently trying a few different things out and haven't settled on a lot of my bag!

From a review I saw earlier as well, pretty much same flight as the flatter less stable pink is3
Yeah, I thought the yellow one was a little more stable than the Pink IS3 I have. I could tell when the wind picked up or when thrown on a slight anny, the pink IS3 would turn in the wind or hold the anny when the IS4 would flex out of an anny or hold straight and finish in the wind. But when throwing in an open field flat with no wind its really hard to tell any difference!

I’m sorry, I don’t have any pick up options currently… hopefully I can figure something out for locals in the future. I’m also hoping to start doing some events next year to have the options to shop in person that way as well. But as of right now I just have the shipping options
Interesting to hear that it's not necessarily just the L64 Chameleon effect on the Opto I...mean...C-Line plastic like I was assuming!
Oh, I didn’t even think of that! I guess it could be similar… but I don’t think there is much color shift on these in the lighting… maybe a tad? But not much. So it might be a little different? It probably feels pretty similar to that though. But I also haven’t thrown a bunch of the chameleon stuff from trilogy
@@ApolloDiscGolf I'm not 100% how that process works, but it seems like they use colours with contrast to the base plastic. I wonder if using the same one would give a luster effect like this. This is definitely the hidden part of Disc Golf I want to be able to nerd out on. 😅

@@ApolloDiscGolf Is it? I thought those were the straight Latitude Chameleon? But they've done some Chameleon Ice plastic discs, so maybe there's no distinction any more.
I also wouldn't be shocked if we finally see some Opto Ice/C-Line Evolution discs next year or in the mystery boxes.
@@mpbx3003 Yeah, after looking at them next to the Razor Claw 3's, they are definitely the same plastic... That very well could be the same Chameleon plastic from Latitude! I'm just not familiar with their Chameleon plastic, so I can't say for sure! But it is for sure identical to the Razor Claw 3 plastic!

yeah.. I have n IS3 for my slightly stable shot, MD1 for the straight and method for the overstable slot.. so looks like a IS4 is a skip for me. I hope they release S-line stock discs soon.. also the night strike, really looking forward to that.
Yeah, this would basically be that Method spot… maybe slightly less overstable… but they would fill the same purpose! And I agree, the Night Strikes are going to be sick! I am pumped for the midnight prowls coming out in a few weeks… I recently tried out an Origin, and those are great!
@@ApolloDiscGolf I have 2 of the midnight prowl 1's and according to the information, the 2's will be near identical. and I absolutely love that disc!
some people might not like the rim on a method so I understand the MD3 will be better for those for sure.
and I been eyeing night strikes for a while, they are expensive, and the C-line Fd was a touch too "overstable" for me. the metalflakes are great, but still, that nightstrike!
Yeah, hopefully they get the night strikes either by the end of this year, or early next year! As much as I like all of Simon and Eagle’s signature discs, it’s time to start supporting the other guys 😂
My iron samurai came out super Flippy. It was a blue one, it was fairly stable for maybe a week. Then it was as Flippy as my origin, same turn as my origin but fought back a little more . Did yours beat up like this?
