- This is Miner Rogue gameplay by FloppySword. An open-world crafting roguelike voxel based where everything is destructible and randomly generated, daylight is for exploring, mining rare minerals, forging powerful weapons, and building your fortress. As the sun sets, monsters emerge to attack your base.

This game reminds me so much of Terraria, especially in the early game... From the somewhat chaotic terrain, inventory, tools and gathering materials, to some enemies and items. The summon item reminds me of the item "Suspicious Eye" which summons the first boss. The workbench, campfire and forge are regular survival game things, but still...
I think it looks quite promising, although not without some quirks. Polishing it here and there will definitely make it even better :)
Floppy spent so much time searching for something on a spot that said, "You will respawn here when you die."
i lit a torch and ran around at night... bad idea.
I dropped in a cavern thru a crevice and ended finding golems, not 1 but 3 of them. i ran.
I ended up finding and fighting goblins.
Was lost underground for 2 days. Good thing im a hoarder and had tons of red shrooms to make potions.
The base is probably the best thing to do.

Summoner would've been cool, be able to summon stuff to fight and protect for you.
@18:10 " i dont see floors" as he mouses over it several times lol @18:26 "i dont have like a floor piece" as he proceeds to open the menu and click on the floor piece causing it to say the word "floor" in the middle of his screen that he THEN puts his cursor directly on before closing the radial in defeat lol

13:31 It reminds me of a survival version of Fable. I got that vibe as early on as the character creation segment. It just looks and feels like Fable 1 to me.
Either way, it seems pretty cool and looks fun to play. So thanks for sharing it homie!

0:00 to 0:16 this is sounding a lot like Minecraft
I know some people prefer "ultra harsh realism" in survival games. But in my opinion this game DESPERATELY needs to improve the torches in terms of both brightness and light radius. And a more gradual transition from well-lit areas to shady areas because it seems like it only has two options - full daylight or pitch black darkness; as you walk underneath a tree or around the back side of a hill AT NOON, the whole screen goes black. It's ridiculous. And a better tutorial system for the construction process would be VERY welcome.
Also, 30:45 LOL!!! Training to become a fire-walker so you can join the circus?
Maybe I'm crazy but it looks like the world is coming to you like a treadmill instead of your character running through the world. It makes me car sick
I think the map at one point said the cross is your respawn point

why dont you just read what it says on the screen? "i wonder what that symbol is on the map?" when it literally says spawn youll respawn there if you die in huge text on the screen lol

Has promise but not for me for other people maybe. Tried the demo, clunky, generated landscapes are too full of pit traps and stuff to start, couldn't find any sane place to actually build. Looks like you'd have to completely destroy the landscape to make a flat place or something. Mobs attacking you all over the place and you've no idea where from. Map doesn't centre on the player as far as I can see. Building is clunky. Yeah, might be worth following to see how it progresses in two years but I'm not exactly confident of it. Planet Crafter it is not but... maybe it will be in a few years? Worth trying the demo at least.

Is the Cross where the Evil Stone is ? and the Cross means You have to bless it and make the stone holy ? , I do like the underground base, I wonder if the Bats would still attack Your base if it was down there 🧐🧐

Only thing to keep an eye out for is there is no save feature yet.... my character model changed to default after I exited and my level was gone along with items
Can you try building the forge directly on top of the campfire? It might stop you from running into the flames.
The world, ui, text, character creator all looks exactly like valheim
The lighting and shadows are terrible for the art style omg lol
