This is the first deep cleaning video of a wood floor that I've seen that I approve. I'm a flooring contractor of 30 years sanding and finishing floors. This process is the next best thing to redoing your floors when they're that dirty. After the floor is dry they would be a good candidate for the maintenance process. Which would be using a buffing machine with a fine screen, cleaning the dust with a vacuum and tack rag off the dust. Then applying fresh coats of finish. These fellas did a good job in this video
Couldn’t disagree more with all of that. High moisture is the worst thing for a hardwood floor. Also after all those chemicals used on the hardwood floor. I would never buff and coat. Horrible idea. Those floors are so past a maintenance program. They need a refinishing. That was cringe to watch :/.
Those who are saying that these people are disgusting have not seen anything truly disgusting. Yes, they are a little untidy but they know it's dirty and that's why they contacted them to clean. They have dogs it's going to be dirty try to be more understanding. Thanks for the vid.
At the end of the video I think they used a product similar to mop and glow. It is wax based. When a floor is this far gone there's no harm in it. I noticed around the table that the floors are in need of an actual sanding and finishing. Using wax products on your floors it's usually not a good idea. Then you will have to use wax products for the continued maintenance. Actual wood floor polyurethane finish will not stick to wax
Beverly Ryan from other videos of his ive seen, and doing some professional cleaning myself, id say no. its up to the customer to move the furniture out of the way if they want it to be cleaned underneath. its a liability issue, i believe. i mean, if i pick up your tv to dust under it or something, and i bust your tv cause i dropped it like a dumbass, that would be a pretty big fuckup! so most companies just get rid of the problem entirely, by saying "dont fucking touch any of their shit."
I have to ask... Why don't some people move their furniture out of the way? I see couches left sitting on a filthy carpet and in this case, that glass table on the hardwood. I keep thinking, "okay, they'll move it..." but they don't. lol Oh my OCD! LOL Great Videos and I'm having a blast watching them. Doesn't take much to amuse me. You do great work btw!
Right? I vacuum my rug at least once a day, sometimes two if the kids were being messier then usual. And I mop at least once a week and swiffer a few times between moppings
weight and bending over and doing these floors were probably longer than the video shows. I bet someone skinnier would be out of breath doing all this work

Do you move the furniture to clean under the tables or beds?
