How to purchase:
I purchased this from Amazon.jp. I used google chrome to auto translate and it was shipped and sold from Amazon so they will ship it here to the US.

What a cute little saw. Love it!
Yes! I'd like to know how to get this too!
An almost perfect saw.........., if only it had a larger cut capacity. Makita has been such a reliable brand of tools for me and I’m excited to see what’s next.
i want a 36v twin saw 216 blade .. and they made the exact saw i want but it runs new 40v batteries 😫
@@davidashcroft5602 Apparently there is a battery adapter on the way from Makita. It will make the new 40v platform compatible with the 18v batteries.
@@TheToolnut great news 😁 I'd buy this today if i could.. Not available in Uk yet
@@davidashcroft5602 The new 40v 216mm mitre saw?
@@TheToolnut yeah can't get it yet
🇧🇷 Makita, sempre Makita.
I just watched a review for the 8 1/4. Would love to be able to get this
Yeah me too its a 40v I believe.
I bought mine on eBay I also have 7 1/2” an 2-10” 18 volt all good
I just ordered the saw but question is where can I get the extension with the rod. The one listed doesn't come with the wider base accessory.
Can you add a bigher fence for this miter saw ?
What is the cut capacity at 45° seems like it would be 5” so no mitering 1x6?
I want it!!!!!
What is the cut depth capacity at 90°? Spec says it'll only cut 46mm but my trim saw with 165mm diameter blade cuts 55mm. Surely this saw cuts more than 46mm?
The 40v is 12" slide dual bevel 8.5 blade and shadow line! Please usa ill be getting 3 per trim crew
They do have a similar model in US/Canada on 18 and 36V. Even though most of my stuff is makita, The reason I went with the milwaukee 7-1/4 compact over this is because Milwaukee does dual Bevel and makita/dewalts only fully Bevel one way.
Better than the xgt 8 1/2 inch miter saw ??
Two questions. How long did it take you to receive it once ordered? What was the shipping cost from Japan? Thanks
Whats the link for this this exact same one please thanks
Hey tool curve i would like to know how you got it .
Makita has come out with a new saw with bigger cut compacety 40v LS008GZ 7 1/2. And LS009GZ 61/5 blade size
how did you get this into the usa?
how much was it? and can yu charge the battery with a 120v outlet?
I'm a 66-year-old cabinet maker and on each and every install I still go outside and make all my cuts on my big miter box and tablesaw where the saw dust can fly into the atmosphere. I know you young tradesmen don't want to hear it but it's all marketing.
hi where and how you got it?
Great review! What’s the part # for the side extensions?
Did you ever get the part numbers?
Dude...why make us ask...post a link where to get it and how much you paid and price of shipping.
Quando sarà disponibile in Italia?
What's the Wight on it ?
How can I get this?
Tuyệt quá
I would be interested in how to get this saw too!
How much was it
Whats the difference between the 2 LS001gz - 610dz? And weight difference
Thanks
Ever looked into the new 40v saw sold in Japan?
Interested but would cost me over 1k to buy and ship to Canada 🍁
Can you email me how I can buy this please
It looks like u can put 7 1/4 blade on it
Will it cut 4 x 2 ok??
Obviously
How Much the Cost for All?
I think 40 volt is 8 inch blade
It's 216mm or 8-5/8".
Ebay around $1200.00
hey man, just want to let you know that things made in China can also be very well made as long as you pay for that. Those cheap made Chinese goods are made cheap, so they don't last long. your hardware dealer are making a lot of money from the alreay very cheap product than the manufacture. Anyway, I really like this saw as well.
Made in Japan by Chinese. LOL
Makita is Japanese
