During laning at 2:50 why does he pick Close Quarters even tho that item is not featured in the build? Is there reasoning behind that pick or is it personal preference
What is going on with the ammo on screen that happens around 20:19 ??? Is the ammo bugged or something? I just saw the ammo go from 16/19 > Reload > 21/25 > 25/25 > Shot > 24/25 > Shot > Slide > 23/19, then all in very quick succession (I had to look frame by frame), it goes Shot > Deny > 22/19 > 19/19. Can someone explain??? I genuinely don't know if the ammo is bugged or something
Kinetic dash does +5 max ammo until next reload, and ammo scav reloads 2 bullets when securing a soul. My guess is that ammo scav counts as a reload and removes the kinetic dash bonus. Now why does he go from 19 to 25 with a +5 bonus I'm not sure, I suppose the code is messing up with rounding numbers
@@zilliq-qz5uw you have to learn how to bait parries and cancel melees. Also when your punches start to do enough damage their mental stack just crumbles lol
@@zilliq-qz5uw the thing with a shiv melee build is that it still uses the dash ability a lot and that by itself can easily kill a opponent and that double dash shadow makes it kinda hard to keep track on shiv in a team fight
heroic aura on shiv seems weird. why not just buy bullet lifesteal? honestly idk why anyone other than mcginnis or maybe wraith would take heroic aura.
A lot of greens are already contested l would bet, the bullet life steal is good but the move speed is more important to use it, since it helps maintain rage when going between lanes or just roaming around the map
I don't like bullet lifesteal as an item, it's too one dimensional and doesn't build into anything. You'll have to sell it when you buy leech. Heroic is more expensive but it gives movespeed and firerate, it's going to help all game long. I didn't do the maths but I'm pretty sure heroic is worth its money even without the minions attack speed passive

Close quarter is always good on shiv, no other T1 item does +25% weapon damage reliably

Think it's just ammo scav and kinetic dash proccing in ways that aren't super intuitive.

Cause it boost minions damage to help kill objectives
Its hard to justify over hunters, but its still great for split pushing and gives stats that you want all in one package, thus using only one slot
